Netflix has shared the official trailer and poster for director Richard Linklater’s new romantic action comedy Hit Man, starring Glen Powell and Adria Arjona. The film will open in select theaters on Friday, May 24, and then will start streaming on Netflix on June 7.
Based on Skip Hollandsworth’s Texas Monthly article, Hit Man will be available to stream in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, and Iceland. The movie is rated R for language throughout, sexual content, and some violence.

Netflix has acquired the global rights to the faith-based musical film “A Week Away,” the streamer announced on Wednesday.
Roman White, who has been nominated for 11 Emmy Awards and has worked with artists like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, is directing. Kali Bailey and Alan Powell are writing the screenplay, after the original idea for the music was conceived by Powell himself.
Steve Barnett, Gabe Vasquez and Powell are producing, while Vicky Patel is executive producing. Corby Pons is co-executive producing, while White is co-producing. Bailee Madison is associate producer.

At first a fish-out-of-water, Will eventually opens his heart and discovers a love and sense of belonging in the last place he expected to find it. Newcomers Jahbril Cook, Kat Conner Sterling, and Iain Tucker will co-star as filming is currently underway in Tennesse with a theatrical release aimed for 2020. Capitol Music Group today announced the launch of the Capitol Innovation Center (Cic) “to bring together leading thinkers from the music and technology industries, as well as the student community, to help drive the future of innovation in music,” according to a press release. Based in the Capitol Tower in Hollywood, California, the Cic aims to provide space and conduct event programming designed to foster innovative ideas, bridge the gap between content creators and the tech community, and foster the next generation of leaders in music.
The center will open on April 15 with a collaborative workspace and songwriting studio for students, technologists, and content creators.
