Is she or isn't she?
Kyle and Reverend Anderson face that question on Outcast Season 1 Episode 5 when they try to determine whether or not Kyle's wife, Allison, is still possessed by demons.
How many people in Rome are possessed by demons? It appears there are many more than what we might have thought. Heck, the whole town might be possessed for all we know. If Allison is, she's not showing it, but we'll get to her in a bit.
Reverend Anderson really thought he saved some of those possessed, but it turns out they were all faking it. If you think about it, is sort of funny. Not really, though.
There is no doubt the Reverend is shaken to his core. I'm guessing at this point, he's really starting to question his faith, especially after everything Kyle said to him after what happened with Sherry.
How could he not?

In the wake of Oscar nominations, Academy members begin buzzing over recent criticism of the film’s subject, Chris Kyle
Even as “American Sniper” breaks January box-office records and revels in six Oscar nominations, criticism over the subject of the film, sharpshooter Chris Kyle, is rising and reaching into the Academy of Motion Picture of Arts and Sciences, which votes on the Academy Awards.
Over the weekend, multiple Academy members told TheWrap that they had been passing around a recent article by Dennis Jett in The New Republic that attacks the film for making a hero out of Kyle, who...

It may be just a coincidence of timing, but scheduling tonight’s AFI Fest “Secret Sneak” of Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper on Veterans Day not only added a strong layer of emotion, but also comes off as a brilliant masterstroke in launching the film and an Oscar campaign. And the fact that Eastwood pulls off his finest and most impressive filmmaking achievement since his 2004 Best Picture Oscar winner Million Dollar Baby — he’s done it, at the age of 84, when most directors are long-retired or certainly not doing the best work of their career. And it’s not even the only film he’s directed this year: Jersey Boys came out in June. Remarkable. Eastwood appeared before the screening tonight to introduce it and send praise to his two stars. AFI President and CEO Bob Gazzale introduced Eastwood, the recipient of the AFI Life Acievement Award nearly 20 years ago suggesting that,...

Don’t get too attached to the cast of ‘Coven.’ Someone won’t be sticking around much longer!
American Horror Story: Coven‘s Oct. 9 premiere was essentially an hour and 15 minutes of jaw-dropping insanity – but the surprises are far from over. Let’s get the first bombshell out of the way: Death is coming to Miss Robichaux’s Academy For Exceptional Young Ladies.
‘Coven’s’ First Victim
Speaking to HollywoodLife.com‘s sister site TVLine, creator Ryan Murphy reveals that Fiona (Jessica Lange) will soon make good on one of the veiled threats she made to the students on the premiere.
“She kills one of them in episode three,” Ryan reveals. “She’s not giving it up!Fiona thinks she’s found out who the Supreme is, and that person gets killed. She’s not giving up that throne, no way.”
Ryan doesn’t say which student is getting permanently expelled,...

Oh, Smash. We stuck with you during your first season, thanked the TV Gods when you were granted a second…but why does the NBC musical drama still feel like it hasn’t quite found its way?
We gathered a group of TV Critics to lay it all on the line and break down how the show’s doing…and if there’s any possible way we’re going to get a season 3. At this roundtable are Jarett Wieselman, (Editorial Director, ETOnline, Marisa Roffman, Managing Editor, GiveMeMyRemote.com, Trish Bendix (Managing Editor, AfterEllen.com), Carla Day, Managing Editor, TVDiehard.com and our own Jim Halterman.
On a scale of 1-10, rate the overall stories on the show and then also rate the musical numbers. How do they compare?
Jarett Wieselman: As was true last season, the musical numbers are the best part of the show, and I am Loving everything involving Hit List.

Smash, Season 2, Episode 5: “The Read- Through”
Written by: Liz Tuccillo
Directed by: David Petrarca
Airs Tuesdays at 10pm (Et) on NBC
The outcome of the recent changes made to Smash seems to have slowed it down to a snail’s pace. Last night’s episode was so boring it was easy to find an interrupting winter weather update in my city more interesting. It’s no easy task revitalizing a television show, and last week held so much promise, it’s just so sad to see the show take a turn into the land of the unenthusiastic. Long gone of the overly dramatic story lines (You guys, remember when Rebecca was poisoned? That was awful.) and now the personal lives of the characters have been striped from the show entirely. Smash has become so focused on making Bombshell work, but Bombshell doesn’t even know what it wants to be.

In the Season 2 premiere of "Smash" (Tuesdays, 10 p.m. Est on NBC), viewers met a number of new characters, but chances are the one that made the biggest impression was Jeremy Jordan's Jimmy, the belligerent barman who had an undeniable spark with Karen (Katharine McPhee).
HuffPost TV sat down with Jordan -- a Broadway veteran who was nominated for a Tony Award for his leading role in "Newsies" last year -- in January to learn more about Jimmy's chemistry with Karen, his character's "dark" past, and the differences between jobs on the stage and the screen.
Tell us a little more about your character, Jimmy.
Jimmy is a Brooklyn-born musician. He's kind of this incredibly gifted savant kid who knows he has talent but hasn't really done anything with it. His best friend he grew up with and his roommate is Kyle [Andy Mientus], who's this crazy musical theater nerd, and...

In the hall of fame of superhero/villain catchphrases “oops” (Anne Hathaway, The Dark Knight Rises) never stood much of a prayer against “me-ow” (Michelle Pfeiffer, Batman Returns), nor could the dark side self importance of 2012’s “there’s a storm coming Mr Wayne” ever best the sexier playful 1992 ‘dark side?’ retort “no darker than yours Bruce” But catch phrases aren’t everything...even when you've got zingy ones like "life's a bitch now so am I" In the great Catwoman wars of popular culture, it’s always in some ways a draw. Every generation and every aesthetic gets their own James Bond and so it goes with all enduring characters which win several iterations. Michelle Pfeiffer’s Selina Kyle may never claim the easy universally agreed upon “Best Catwoman Evah!” victory you’d expect given Pfeiffer’s mammoth performance (give or take Heath Ledger, the most psychologically precise, overachieving...

I enjoyed last week's premiere of The Client List, I liked "Turn the Page" even more.
It started off with linen day at the spa, which delivered some of the sexy humor that makes this show so much fun. As the women ogled the gorgeous guy folding the new towels, Riley gave us a great The Client List quote…
I don't know if he's so hot because he's gorgeous or because he can actually do laundry. | permalink
Isn't that the truth? But it's also one of the things I like about this show: it doesn't take itself too seriously.
Riley's bigger problems came to light pretty quickly. First off, Kyle may have called her but he hung up never uttering a word. Then when she tried to call back his cell phone was disconnected. Of course, the not knowing what's going on with her hubby was making her crazy.

Part Two of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season Two reunion was much less light and fluffy than part one and much more hard hitting for so many reasons. The reunion is the time for the housewives to take responsibility for their actions as well as see themselves through another’s perspective and use that perspective as a way to improve their selves. Some of the housewives got this concept. Others clearly did not. So the drama took flight and made for one incredibly bumpy ride… and still, it was more civil than reunions from other Housewives shows. Hmm.
Brandi Glanville joined the reunion for part two, as she was introduced to America this season shortly following her divorce to Eddie Cibrian. Open to widening her group of friends, Glanville was a ray of light this season, bringing in a completely different vibe from the other housewives. Though Glanville...

About three-quarters of the way into this evening's Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion special, we were ready to call it a night. But wait! As seems to be the franchise's M.O., the snoozefest finally heated up in the last 10 minutes. God bless Camille Grammer and Kyle Richards! The two lovely ladies were in awesome finger-waving form when it came to rehashing their season-long feud over what Kyle may or may not have said to Camille in Las Vegas. Credit also goes to Andy Cohen for fanning the flames with such point-blank fan-submitted queries as this beauty: "Camille, you're very sneaky. You provoke trouble and then switch over and play the victim. Why do you always see...

Zap2it's weekly "'Dancing with the Stars' Diary" offers fans a backstage pass to everybody's favorite only reality competition that throws celebrities at the mercy of that fickle mistress we call dance.
Readers, the stars will come and go, but Tom Bergeron is forever.
Like a debonair Mr. Belding presiding over the Bayside 10-year reunion, his rapport with the previous cast members who turned out for the big 2-0-0 reminds us all of why "Dancing With the Stars" is such an easy show to love. We get to know these people. And 5 years of our own lives and cultural history are reflected in that damn mirrorball.
Reality TV is sort of deep like that.
But it's also shiny. And there were no shortage of sequins in Week 7, with the remaining 6 contestants donning besparkled suits and shimmering fringe to recreate some of the series most iconic routines as duos and groups.
