It was inevitable, but now it’s official: Netflix has renewed David Fincher‘s outstanding serial killer series “Mindhunter” for a second season.
So, where will audiences go in the next round of episodes? This fall, Fincher revealed, “Next year we’re looking at the Atlanta child murders, so we’ll have a lot more African-American music which will be nice. The music will evolve. It’s intended to support what’s happening with the show and for the show to evolve radically between seasons.”

There’s the myth of serial killing, the myth that it’s a “white thing”, the myth that black people may kill, yes, but never from sadistic pleasure. And then there’s reality. The names - Jake Bird, Wayne Williams, Chester Turner, Lorenzo Gilyard, and Andre Crawford - historical proof that whatever compulsion it is that moves the Ted Bundy’s and John Wayne Gacy’s of the world to murder, can be found in black men, too. It’s a compulsion that’s explored in “Tales of the Grim Sleeper,” Nick Broomfield’s latest documentary about the now infamous serial killer, Lonnie Franklin Jr. Between the mid-1980s up until his eventual arrest in 2010, Franklin would kill nearly a...

The 'Freak Me' boyband are said to have agreed a deal to appear in the second series of the ITV2 show, according to The Sun.
Dane Bowers, Mark Baron, Bobak Kianoush and Wayne Williams found success in the late 1990s with their R&B sound, scoring seven top ten singles in two years.
Williams left the group in 1999, followed soon after by Kianoush. Bowers later embarked on a solo career.
All four members will apparently appear on the show, reuniting for a number of gigs in 2014.

A man has been arrested for hampering a police investigation while dressed as Batman. Mark Wayne Williams from North Michigan was sentenced to six months' probation after refusing to clear the scene following a personal injury road accident last Saturday (September 29). "Troopers were responding to the scene of a personal injury accident in which the driver had left the scene," Sergeant Jeff Gorno told Petoskeynews.com. "When we arrived, (Williams) was at the scene in his Batman outfit. He wouldn't clear the scene and we had a canine out there and he kept screwing up the scent. "He said he wanted to help us look for the driver. We didn't want the dog to track Batman instead of the accident scene and he was getting in the way of officers who had a job to do." Williams - known locally as the 'Petoskey Batman' - has been arrested (more)...

Petoskey, Mich. (AP) — The search for a driver who fled an accident scene in northern Michigan over the weekend was apparently a job for a dog, not a bat.
State troopers arrested 33-year-old Mark Wayne Williams because they say he refused to leave them alone after he showed up Saturday night wearing a Batman outfit.
"He wouldn't clear the scene, and we had a canine out there and he kept screwing up the scent," State Police Sgt. Jeff Gorno told the Petoskey News-Review (http://bit.ly/QFv0yh ). "He said he wanted to help us look for the driver."
"We didn't want the dog to track Batman instead of the accident scene, and he was getting in the way of officers who had a job to do," the sergeant said.

"I know Trey Songz is a guy that if he keeps with the hits and he humble himself a little bit more he will definitely be one of the runner ups. Chris Brown is already there as far as I’m concerned because he’s a humble guy. Chris Brown use to come to my studio when he was 13, 14, 15, and 16… I use to lecture him all the time with DJ Wayne Williams. I tell you one thing, I have the most upmost respect for Chris Brown. My hat goes off to him. Because why? He got into the studio, he did what he was supposed to do and he bounced back like round ball." --Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter R. Kelly on Chris Brown being the new king of R&B. (Wgci’s Tony Sculfield & The Morning Riot Show)
