The world of Nickelodeon’s hit anthology TV horror series “Are You Afraid of the Dark?” is being expanded upon with a brand new book this summer, written by Rin Chupeco and titled Are You Afraid of the Dark? The Tale of the Gravemother.
Published under the Amulet imprint with an announced first printing of 75,000 copies, this first middle grade novel in a series will be released in hardcover on June 27, 2023.

Well, sh-t, kids, sorry 'bout those f-bombs! Parents who bought their kids some McDonald's Happy Meal toys with "Minions" characters got some despicable feedback when a few of the talking toys sounded like they were talking dirty, saying things like "What the f--k."
"I heard what it said and I'm like, 'Whoa, hang on here,'" Taylor King, who bought a Happy Meal for his 3-year-old son, told Fox28 in Columbus, Ohio. Alexis Hernandez told Fox 13 her 5-year-old daughter Julissa opened up the toy while she was in the backseat of the car. Alexis said she heard "What the f--k" followed by "I'll be damned." The child's grandmother thought Julissa said it, but the kid said it was the toy.
The New York Daily News reached out to McDonald's, and spokeswoman Lisa McComb said, "The Minion Caveman Happy Meal toy includes 3 sounds: 'para la bukay,' 'hahaha,' and 'eh eh,...
