The Lincoln Lawyer fans were dismayed to see Neve Campbell’s character, Maggie McPherson, in a decreased role in season 2 of Netflix’s legal thriller. Some viewers worried that the iconic scream queen was planning an exit from the show completely. An exit would force the storyline to deviate significantly from its source material. While we don’t know what the future holds for the series just yet, it looks like Campbell might be on screen more often in season 3 if it does happen. So, why did she step away in season 2?
Why wasn’t Neve Campbell in much of season 2 of ‘The Lincoln Lawyer’?
Campbell’s reduced screen time on season 2 of The Lincoln Lawyer had nothing to do with the character or plans to write her out. It would be nearly impossible to do so. Since The Lincoln Lawyer is based on Michael Connelly’s books about Mickey Haller.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan would have some wise words for her younger self if she’d have known how the show “Never Have I Ever” would have changed her life.
Ramakrishnan — who stars as Devi Vishwakumar — chatted with Et Canada’s Keshia Chanté alongside her co-stars Darren Barnet and Jaren Lewison ahead of season 4’s release.
A synopsis for the much-loved series reads, “The complicated life of a first-generation Indian-American teenage girl, inspired by Mindy Kaling’s own childhood.”
As Chanté questioned what she would say to herself if she could go back to when she first auditioned for the part, Ramakrishnan responded, “I feel like for me, I definitely didn’t think I was going to get it just because of like where I was at my life at that time.

Creating a great TV finale is truly a work of art. Somehow a single episode is expected to provide closure to a story that fans have been dedicatedly following for years. It has to be satisfying but not too perfect, conclusive but not too cutesy, sad but not in a way that’s too self-serious. And while juggling all those contradictory extremes, it also has to stay true to the distinct tone of its universe.
With “Succession” and “Barry’s” finales on the horizon, it’s worthwhile to look back through the greats. From CBS stables to critically-acclaimed anime, here are some of TV’s best series finales that went above and beyond.

Heading into “Better Call Saul’s” sixth season, no one thought that Gilligan and Peter Gould could top “Felina.” But, by god, they did it.

Netflix’s “Never Have I Ever” will return with a third season on Aug. 12, the streaming service announced Sunday. The popular teen series, from co-creators and executive producers Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, also released first-look images for its upcoming set of episodes.
The coming-of-age comedy hit stars breakout Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as the often self-involved Devi. The coming-of-age comedy hit stars breakout Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as the often self-involved Devi. As a first-generation Indian American teenager who has just lost her father, she’s often at odds with her overprotective mother (Poorna Jagannathan) — and at the end of a short fuse. She finds solace in her best friends, Fabiola (Lee Rodriguez) and Eleanor (Ramona Young), and occasionally her put-together older cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani), who helps her navigate the treacherous waters of high school classes, crushes and catastrophes.
Season 3 will pick up following the events of the second season finale’s winter formal, where Devi reconnects with Paxton (Darren Barnet), who is now her boyfriend.

This past September this writer headed down to Arkansas for a quick set visit for the upcoming slasher flick Madison County. With filming taking place on location in the actual namesake area, I quickly came to realize I had never felt as far from Hollywood as I did winding around those dusty, remote roads on my travels to and from the set.
The beauty, contrasted with the isolation in these mountainous areas, made for the perfect backdrop for the carnage about to hit Madison County.
Beyond the stunning scenery, what impressed me most while on the set of Madison County was the cast and crew’s adaptability to some truly guerrilla-style filmmaking in order to get the movie completed on time and within its budget. There were no Ramadas with turn-down service here - everyone was staying at a very modest (and insect-friendly) motel that even though it was the...
