One year ago, it was announced that the Netflix streaming service had renewed the serial killer thriller series You for a fifth season, which will also be the final one. We know Penn Badgley is coming back for You season 5 as the lead character Joe Goldberg, and it’s probably a good bet that season 4’s Charlotte Ritchie will continue to have a prominent role in this final season. It has previously been announced that Madeline Brewer of The Handmaid’s Tale will have a series regular role in the new batch of episodes, and now Variety has broken the news that Anna Camp of the Pitch Perfect films and Griffin Matthews of The Flight Attendant have also been cast in series regular roles.
Camp will actually be playing two different characters, as she has been cast as both Raegan and Maddie Lockwood, twin sisters-in-law to Joe Goldberg. Here are their descriptions: “Raegan is the cunning,...

10. The Great God Pan by Arthur Machen (1894)
A golden fantasy horror classic, The Great God Pan almost ruined its author’s reputation at the time: his tale of pagan woodland rituals, freaky crimes, and supernatural encounters was denounced by critics. But it influenced iconic writers like Bram Stoker, H. P. Lovecraft, and Stephen King himself who described it as “the best horror story in the English language.”
9. Invasion of the Body Snatchers by Jack Finney (1955)
Tapping into quite the opposite subgenre, Invasion of the Body Snatchers is a timeless sci-fi horror following a doctor’s investigation into his patients' reports. As more and more people are seemingly losing their emotions and personalities, he uncovers an alien conspiracy for replacing humans with identical copies. A story to be “read and savored,” King says.

Brace yourself for the final chapter of Joe Goldberg’s bloody tale.
You is returning for a fifth and final season — and production is already underway in New York. Check out a photo of Penn Badgley (he/him) back in the city where it all began below.
Based on the novels by Caroline Kepnes, You centers on Joe, a book-loving, hopeless romantic with a penchant for stalking and killing the women he (claims to) love, as well as anyone else who gets in his way. While Joe’s search for The One began in New York, it took him first to Los Angeles in Season 2, then to the suffocating suburbs of San Francisco in Season 3 and most recently London in the just-launched fourth season. Camp will play both Raegan and Maddie Lockwood, twin sisters-in-law to Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley). The characters are described as follows: “Raegan is the cunning, cutthroat CFO of the Lockwood Corp who has her eyes on the throne and will crush any adversary…be them family or not. Matthews will play Teddy Lockwood, described as the “snarky yet loyal brother-in-law of Joe Goldberg.

One year ago, it was announced that the Netflix streaming service had renewed the serial killer thriller series You for a fifth season, which will also be the final one. While executive producers Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter said that You was always intended to be a “five season journey”, showrunner Sera Gamble decided not to guide the journey to its conclusion. While “You” Season 5 won’t be hitting Netflix for a while, Penn Badgley is tiding over fans by teasing that some unresolved business from Joe’s past escapades will return for the final season of the thriller series.
“I’ve heard you’re on the edge of your seats waiting and theorizing about the epic conclusion to ‘You,'” Badgley said in a video that played during Netflix’s Tudum Global Fan Event hosted Saturday from São Paulo, Brazil. “More importantly, you’re considering what, or should I say who, Joe will come up against as he finally returns to New York.”
“Though I can’t say who just yet, we all know there are many loose ends from Joe’s past,” Badgley continued, as the clip flashed to Marienne locked in Joe’s cage in London during his psychotic break in Season 4.

You Season 4 isn’t even over yet, but it’s hard not to think about season 5. And when you get to season 5, thoughts inevitably turn to the end. Netflix users are being left perplexed by You season four’s understanding of London.
The new season of the hit Netflix show was released earlier this month, bringing back Penn Badgley’s murderous Joe Goldberg to screens.
This time around, Joe is in London, with Badgley filming the series in the UK’s capital in 2021.
However, the show, which is an adaptation of the book series by Caroline Kepnes, immediately raised eyebrows for the way it shows Joe travelling around the city.
“Campus is across town from where I stay, but in a city like London, I don't mind the walk.” he says, leaving Royal Holloway, the university based in Egham, Surrey.
Joe is then shown walking past the Commercial Tavern in Shoreditch, before arriving at his destination in South Kensington, all the way over in West London.

You Season 4 Part 1 picks up with Joe Goldberg working in London as a professor under the name Jonathan Moore. Joe’s new look and career path suit him. Though he never went to college himself, Joe is incredibly well-read and smart enough to know when to let his students carry the class discussion.
He also assigns literature that is different than the “usual canonical, vaguely racist men that drink,” as his student Nadia puts it.

When will the women of the world finally be free from Joe Goldberg's reign of terror? Though we have more than enough evidence to officially declare the man a psychopath, Netflix is delving back into the psyche of Penn Badgley's Joe, the lovestruck serial killer at the center of their addictively binge-able series, "You."
Based on the novels by Caroline Kepnes, the series follows bookish nutjob Joe as he stalks his way into the hearts of unassuming women who more often than not, end up dead. He might be a romantic at heart but Joe is first and foremost a killer, who will go to any lengths necessary "in the name of love."
