The King of Horror’s works have become one of the greatest sources of the filmmakers’ inspiration, as numerous movies and TV titles, based on Stephen King’s novels, brought billions of dollars to the industry. Some of them have even gained worldwide popularity and the golden status and are being discussed and rewatched by fans annually.
These include the 1986 movie with a seemingly straightforward premise. It focuses on four young boys, Gordie, Vern, Chris and Teddy, hoping to become famous in their hometown by finding a dead body of a stranger accidentally killed in the Oregon woods.
Their journey towards the body, however, offers a bunch of unexpected turns, including the unpleasant encounters and the hostility of the wilderness. As they go further in the forest, they also learn more about one another and their very different home lives.

It looks like Elsbeth and the NYPD will be patrolling for some paws in Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 8, "Artificial Genius." Although, considering the title of the episode and the nature of the promo, it's hard to see the connection between a missing dog and artificial intelligence.
However, if there is one thing that this show is good at, it's balancing the level of camp with a clever plot structure.
Elsbeth has easily figured out some of the genuinely bizarre methods of murder so far, like a nitroglycerin-dosed sports towel; thank you, Elsbeth Season 1 Episode 5, for that stretch of the imagination that won't soon be forgotten.
She can more than handle the procurement of a possibly pilfered pooch.
In the upcoming installment of Elsbeth's premier season, Elizabeth Lail debuts as Quinn, the weekly murderer. Viewers might recognize her as Beck from the Netflix sensation You.

Netflix has debuted the trailer for the dark comedic thriller ‘Bodkin’.
The show follows a motley crew of podcasters who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in a quaint, coastal Irish town. But once they start pulling at threads, they discover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined. As our heroes try to discern fact from fiction — about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves — the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears.
Created by Jez Scharf, the show stars Sobhán Cullen (Dove), Robyn Cara (Emmy), Chris Walley (Sean O’Shea), David Wilmot (Seamus), and Will Forte (Gilbert).
Guest stars include Pom Boyd (Mrs. O’Shea), Fionnula Flanagan (Mother Bernadette), Áine Ní Mhuirí (Sister McDonagh), Charlie Kemp (Damien), Pat Shortt (Darragh), Ger Kelly (Teddy), Denis Conway (Sergeant...

With Arizona (Jessica Capshaw) coming back to Grey Sloan during the April 4 episode of Grey’s Anatomy, we’ve all wondered if Callie (Sara Ramírez) will join her. Well, Season 20 showrunner Meg Marinis has the answer: Unfortunately, Callie will not appear in the episode. Marinis told TV Line that “there are so many [alumni], and everyone has busy careers and schedules,” so Ramírez was unable to return. Arizona’s reason for coming back to Grey Sloan is “really connected” to her specialty as a pediatric surgeon, so it “made sense” in this case for Callie’s absence. “We have an open-door policy here,” Marinis said about former cast members returning. “We always want to see old characters come back and interact with the new characters.” According to ABC’s description of Season 20 Episode 4, Arizona “returns to Grey Sloan for a particularly complicated case. Grey’s Anatomy continues to be in a league of its own, landing a renewal for a 21st season. The pickup, which comes three episodes into Grey’s Anatomy‘s landmark 20th season, extends its record as the longest-running primetime medical drama, which it initially set in 2019, and the longest-running ABC primetime scripted series. I hear Season 21 is expected to consist of 18 episodes, up from the 10-episode strike-impacted 20th season.
The early renewal is a testament to the show’s ability to reinvent itself and stay relevant even with its lead, Ellen Pompeo, not being on-screen full-time as a new group of interns was introduced last season. Pompeo continues to recur in addition to serving as an executive producer and providing the voiceover that opens and closes each episode.

It was an understated hour of Grey's Anatomy.
A lot of fun little tidbits happened during Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Episode 2, but not enough to move the plot forward outside of the Simone and Lucas development.
But overall, the hour was purely just vibing as we coast into bigger storylines.
More than anything, we got to spend some quality time with the interns and revel in their fun antics that continue to capture the nostalgic feel of Grey's from yesteryear.
The interns are genuinely a fun bunch to watch, and this hour allowed us to do so unimpeded for the most part.
We got to see Bailey in her true form as the mentor and leader of the interns.
But as the hour progressed, it was evident that sometimes, she had to adapt to a different herd of young doctors and the times.
My class didn't screw up like yours did!

Anna Camp and Griffin Matthews have been cast in “You” Season 5 at Netflix as series regulars, Variety has learned exclusively.
The pair are the latest additions to the cast of the popular show’s fifth season, which will also be its final season. It was previously announced that Madeline Brewer would also appear in a series regular role.
Camp will play both Raegan and Maddie Lockwood, twin sisters-in-law to Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley). The characters are described as follows: “Raegan is the cunning, cutthroat CFO of the Lockwood Corp who has her eyes on the throne and will crush any adversary…be them family or not. Maddie, on the other hand, presents as the unserious twin, a thrice-divorced socialite whose job is ‘vaguely PR.’ But make no mistake, a master manipulator lies underneath Maddie’s frivolous façade.”
Matthews will play Teddy Lockwood, described as the “snarky yet loyal brother-in-law of Joe Goldberg.

Up until recently I worked the night shift in a hotel, so I know how creepy it can feel at times, especially when you’re getting used to the place with all of the building’s odd little noises and quirks. That’s the position Gwen finds herself in.
Recently moved into the area and in need of money, she’s answered an ad for a temporary overnight position at the All Tucked Inn. The owner Teddy, who seems to be making his story up as he goes along, tells her the woman who regularly does the job has been sidelined with medical issues. He’d love to stay and help, but he has a date. But there’s nothing to worry about, this is a quiet, peaceful place where nothing ever happens.

We discuss Mer finding a workaround for her new findings, the new tension between Simone and Lucas, Teddy's fight for her life, Jolink's happiness, and so much more. Join the conversation below!

A Netflix original Ghanaian drama, A Taste of Sin deals with faith, forgiveness, and redemption. The film revolves around a renowned pastor, Teddy, and the sins he committed, driven by his lust and unfaithfulness. Even though Pastor Teddy is a man of principles, he isn’t able to control his lust and falls from grace, but his wife, who knows her husband is a good man, sticks by his side till the end. Let’s see if Teddy and his wife will be forgiven by the Lord or punished for their sins. A very poorly written and executed storyline with unsalvageable performances will push you to turn it off, but here is our recap if you really want to know what the film is about.
Spoilers Ahead
Plot Synopsis: What Happens In The Film?
The film opened with Pastor Teddy and his wife, Ruth, attending church, where the bishop gave...

Therapy is heralded by millions as a way to work through the tangle of our innermost feelings and air grievances without judgement, making it a bountiful foundation for Daniel Sinclair’s tonal mash-up The Breakthrough. Greta Lee and Ben Sinclair play a fractured couple who are the embodiment of an unbalanced modern day relationship, but with Sinclair deftly flipping expected gender roles, placing the male partner in the role of domesticity suffocating his creativity whilst his female counterpart, earning all of the money, continues to come home late from work. The Breakthrough is set over Christmas, a supposed time of time of goodwill and joy but here serves as a shining reminder of the couple’s simmering distaste for one another. The Breakthrough is deviously funny and sharp at every turn and also serves as a pertinent reminder of the benefits of composting. Ahead of the film’s online premiere...

Grey’s Anatomy fans everywhere are getting their wish:
Jessica Capshaw is returning as Arizona Robbins during Season 20 of the veteran medical drama.
The news came out of nowhere earlier this month, almost six years after the actress was written out of the show alongside Sarah Drew.
Neither actress had approached showrunners to depart, with the reason for their exits being put down to creative reasons.
And now, all these years later, Capshaw is scrubbing back in as Arizona, and we have the first photo to prove it.
Capshaw took to Instagram to show her back in scrubs and in character as Arizona, alongside some exciting information.
When will Jessica Capshaw’s first episode back air?
Capshaw captioned the photo with a date, which happens to be a Thursday, so it has to be her big comeback.
The highly-anticipated hour is set to air Thursday, April 4 at 9/8c.

Developer Tainted Pact and publisher Assemble Entertainment have announced that their ’80s-inspired horror adventure game Terror at Oakheart will finally arrive later this month for Steam and itch.io. Previously announced for a late release last year, the game will now instead hit on February 27th. Accompanying the announcement is a brand new trailer.
Terror at Oakheart centres on the eponymous community, and follows a wide cast of characters, each of whom is destined to perish at the hands of the psychotic serial killer known as Teddy. If that wasn’t enough intrigue, Teddy is also apparently under the sway of a Lovecraftian beast.
Players will step into the shoes of Eric, Ethan, Rose, Tyler and other characters as you move through a number of sets throughout the town, such as Teddy’s house, the nearby police station, a ranger station, camp areas, and others. As you explore, you’ll investigate...

With the release of "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" in 2023, Lucasfilm and Hasbro took advantage of the titular adventurer's return to dig back into the history of the beloved franchise with a new collection of toys. Hasbro's Adventure Series action figures would finally give us the detailed yet affordable collectible versions of the characters we've loved in (almost) all of the "Indiana Jones" movies, from "Raiders of the Lost Ark" to "Temple of Doom" to "The Last Crusade."
After the first wave threw it back to "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and the second wave dug into "Temple of Doom" with a little bit of "Dial of Destiny," the third and seemingly final wave of Indiana Jones Adventure Series action figures arrived at "The Last Crusade" and included a couple more "Dial of Destiny" figures for good measure.

"Do you want a friend who will never leave your side?" A childhood imaginary friend returns with a vengeance that's all too real when it inhabits a stuffed teddy bear named Chauncey in the new trailer for the upcoming Blumhouse horror movie Imaginary, coming to theaters on March 8th via Lionsgate.
Below, you can experience the chilling new trailer for Imaginary, and here's what director/co-writer Jeff Wadlow had to say about making the new movie:
“Not all imaginary friends are friendly… at least that’s what the characters at the heart of Imaginary are about to find out. I love making films that play with the audience's perception of what is real and what is not, so a horror movie that explores the frightening possibilities of imaginary friends was the perfect sandbox for me to play in. In the previous episode of Death and Other Details, after Keith Trubitsky’s mysterious death, Rufus and Imogene began to investigate the murder. An Interpol agent, Hilda Eriksen, took over the investigation, and Jules became the prime suspect, as he was a wanted criminal in three different countries. Jules wanted to get the refugees to a safe place, and Imogene and Sunil helped him do this, but Interpol Agent Eriksen arrested Jules. Meanwhile, Leila, who was a reporter and someone who worked on the case of Viktor Sams, talked to Rufus, informing him that she suspected Viktor Sams’ involvement in Keith Trubitsky’s murder. Viktor Sams seemed to be the main antagonist of the story and an old target of Rufus Cotesworth. In Death and Other Details episode 5, let’s see how close Rufus was to finding out where Viktor Sams was.

2024’s giving us two films about imaginary friends. If, from writer/director John Krasinski, is light and fluffy, with Ryan Reynolds starring and Steve Carell voicing an imaginary friend. On the opposite end of the imaginary friend spectrum is Lionsgate’s Imaginary. The trailer shows a young girl’s cute stuffed teddy bear wants to be her forever friend, à la Chucky.
Imaginary stars DeWanda Wise (Jurassic World Dominion), Tom Payne (Prodigal Son), Taegen Burns (The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers), and Pyper Braun (Erin & Aaron). Veronica Falcon (A Million Miles Away) and Betty Buckley (Preacher) also star.
“From Blumhouse, the genre-defining masterminds behind Five Nights at Freddy’s and M3GAN, comes an original horror film that taps into the innocence of imaginary friends – and begs the question: Are they really figments of childhood imagination or is something more terrifying lying just beneath?” reads Lionsgate’s synopsis. “When Jessica (Wise) moves...

Come out, come out, wherever you are — Chauncey the Teddy Bear wants to play.
The latest installment of Blumhouse’s creepy toys gone astray horror subgenre, “Imaginary” centers on a decades-spanning story of a (possibly) demonic stuffed animal that torments both mother and stepdaughter.
DeWanda Wise stars as Jessica, a mom who moves back into her childhood home, where she is reunited with her old teddy bear. Her stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) has an eerie link to the toy, however, forcing Jessica to reexamine her own traumatic past. Or is it just all in Jessica’s head?
The official synopsis reads: “When Jessica (Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister. As Alice’s...

If you thought Grey’s Anatomy was losing its luster, the official trailer for Grey’s Anatomy Season 20 will wash away those concerns.
With new episodes set to get underway on Thursday, March 14, at 9/8c, ABC is kicking off the promotional train relatively early.
The first footage teases plenty of big storylines, including Ellen Pompeo’s return as Meredith Grey and the fate of one of Grey Sloane Memorial’s most popular faces.
While it’s unclear how many episodes Pompeo will be back for, it’s interesting that we’re getting so many spoilers about where her storyline will be at.
As you’ll recall, Meredith left Seattle for Boston, but there were still plenty of questions about where she would go next, including her romantic life.
Of course, we’ve watched her relationship with Nick (Scott Speedman) and its ups and downs.

Evan Rachel Wood Still Doesn’t Know ‘Westworld’ Ending After Cancellation: “It Keeps Me Up at Night”
Evan Rachel Wood knows about as much as fans when it comes to what Westworld creators Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan had up their sleeves for the final season of their hit HBO series — which is to say, she knows nothing at all.
Wood, who spoke to The Hollywood Reporter ahead of her New York stage debut as Audrey in the off-Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors, revealed during the sit-down that she had asked the Westworld creators about where the show was headed following the season four finale, “Que Sera Sera.” In it, humanity — and most sentient life — essentially ends after a season that saw the park androids seizing control, flipping the power scales to control humans the way hosts once were.

From man-eating beds to serial-killing gingerbread cookies, there’s no shortage of absurd premises in the horror genre. However, not all of these weird movies are created equal, and I’d argue that a silly premise is only half the battle when crafting a legitimately entertaining piece of absurdist genre cinema. Personally, I think that the very best of these strange projects succeed because they take an utterly ridiculous concept and play it completely straight, often revealing unexpected terrors as filmmakers show us worlds where tumors can go homicidal and mad scientists can stitch people into human centipedes.
One of my favorite examples of this kind of cinematic absurdity done right is Kevin Smith’s controversial horror-comedy Tusk, a divisive feature that’s almost equally loved and hated by the horror community. And with the flick currently celebrating its 10th anniversary, I thought that this might be a great time...

It’s hard to believe Grey’s Anatomy has been on the air for almost 20 years.
As a midseason replacement back in 2005, the show wasn’t expected to break out in the way it has done.
Despite big casting shake-ups, it remains one of ABC’s most popular dramas and will likely be on the air for countless more years.
With Grey’s Anatomy Season 20 just around the corner, it’s time to take a look at everything we know about the milestone season.
We even have an update on Ellen Pompeo’s return as Meredith Grey.

Death and Other Details Episode 3 added a few more twists and turns to the murder investigation of David/Keith, Rufus’ assistant. Imogen helped Rufus as much as possible before she had to get others involved lest Interpol be notified about her covert activities. We can expect the case will have some more twists and turns, considering it’s just the third episode. There is a lot more hidden in Varuna, and Imogen discovers secret passageways, confirming exactly that. But before all that happened, a few secrets came out in the open, and the facade of a righteous life was shattered. How that would impact the case is yet to be determined. Rufus, meanwhile, had the pleasure of working with Interpol’s ‘best man,’ a woman named Hilde Erikson, as she bulldozed her way into the investigation, trying to get to the truth as quickly as possible.
