- She is the great-granddaughter of R.H. Gore, the Governor of Puerto Rico under President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.
- Catherine has been a nationally-recognized equestrian. She competed within the American Quarter Horse Association with her gelding, Zippo's Red Socks. She was number one in the state of AZ in the Youth Western Pleasure Division and represented the state in the AQHYA World Show.
- At the age of 14, Catherine auditioned for five-time Tony-nominated director Marshall W. Mason for his production of "J.B." by Archibald Macleish. She was cast as the daughter "Ruth".
- She won the Best Spokeswoman Award in the Miss Arizona Teen USA Pageant.
- She is a proud member of the Beta Nu Chapter of the Delta Gamma Fraternity.
- While in middle school, Catherine competed within the state-wide Florida Junior Thespian Competition. She placed first two years in a row within the Monologue Division, a pool of over one thousand other young actors. She also placed first in the state in the Duet Acting competition with a scene from the play, "Jane Eyre".
- Catherine decided she wanted to be a film producer after watching 1995's "Casper", in the hopes that one day she could work with Devon Sawa.
- She is related to Christopher Gore, Oscar-nominated screenwriter and playwright, creator of the musical FAME.
- Her favorite band is Led Zeppelin. She has seen Robert Plant perform live 13 times.
