The biggest chartbuster of the year came from the the low profile Lalit Pandit whose Munni badnaam hui instantly joined the ranks of the ritiziest item songs in Bollywood, on a par with Kajra re and Beedi jalay le.It also catapulted the sizzling Malaika Arora to dizzying heights of glory. Malaika will now dance only for her husband producer Arbaaz Khan.s films and will of course endorse the brand of balm that the song so seductively talks about.Brand endorsement and Bollywood became inextricably bonded in 2010.When stars were not shooting feature films(and many of the leading ladies were not) they were shooting ads. And when they weren.t shooting ads they were shooting their mouths off to the media .Otherwise there was always the stage performances.Besides A R Rahman.s world tour there were no major world-concert tours from Bollywood in 2010. 2011 will see Ranbir Kapoor...

Cast: John Abraham , Pakhi , Raghu Ram , Manasi Scott , Anaitha Nair , Alishka Varde , Prahsant Chawla; Director: Abbas Tyrewala; Rating: 2.5 out of 5.
‘Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na’ director Abbas Tyrewala is back with his new film ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’ with his wife Pakhi as the writer and female lead in the film. We wonder why Pakhi, who is not a bad screenwriter, herself decided to act in the film. If she wanted to be an actress, she should have decided to make a debut ages back as she looks too old and totally unappealing in ‘Jhootha Hi Sahi’.
John Abraham plays a simple and shy.

September 13, 2010: The enormously talented Anaitha Nair who’s 24 and plays a 17-year old teminally ill girl in Aashayein seems to share an eerie bonding with John Abraham.
Like John, Anaitha is half-Malayali and half-Parsi. And out of the handful of feature films she has done so far, 3 have been with John, the latest being a role in the Hindi remake of Kaakha Kaakha which she just bagged.
“I can’t explain it,” the talkative and chirpy bubbly Bangalorian brims over with excitement as she mulls over the coincidence of bumping into John so often in her career. “I was in.

August 27, 2010: Long stuck in the cans, Nagesh Kukunoor’s John Abraham starrer Aashayein is not a bad film but at the same time it doesn’t deserve to be called a good film either. Nagesh Kukunoor who has been having a bad run of sorts with his films since last two and a half years somehow misses the bus yet again. He had a paper thin plot in his hand which has.
