"There's something else down here with me." 4Digital Media has released an official trailer for an indie sci-fi survival thriller titled Dune Drifter, from genre filmmaker Marc Price. This originally premiered at FrightFest in London earlier this year, and also played at the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival. The logo on the poster is obviously trying to connect to Dune (which has since been delayed from its date in December) even though the plot of this has absolutely nothing to do with Dune. After a devastating orbital space battle, the survivor of a crashed star-fighter must navigate the harsh environment of a desolate planet to save herself before her life support expires. Starring Phoebe Sparrow as the sole survivor, Adler, with an indie cast including Daisy Aitkens, Simon Dwyer-Thomas, Alastair Kirton, Richard Corgan, Marcus Shakesheff, and Charlotte Mounter. This looks pretty damn good, and thankfully the trailer doesn't give away too much.

Brave. Fearless. Inspirational. These are the words which aptly define the Rani of Jhansi. ?The Warrior Queen of Jhansi? narrates the exemplary story of the Rani who is a symbol of valour and national pride.
The film celebrates the Rani of Jhansi who went down in the annals of history as a freedom fighter who believed in the unyielding feminine force.
While the director of the film, Swati Bhise prepared for all the visual aesthetics of the film, the actress who plays the role of the queen, Devika Bhise, stepped up into a rigorous physical regime to play the role to perfection.
Devika not only trained extensively in London with top notch stuntmen Marcus Shakesheff but also studied the ancient martial art of Kalaripayattu under Master Gopakumar in India. ?It?s the oldest martial art in the world,? she explains.
?It was really tough, because you are using real weapons and can easily injure yourself.

About this time last year we let you know that stuntman Marcus Shakesheff got the bright idea to head into Wales and make the action movie, Kamikaze. It would be the first action film ever shot in Wales and also marks Shakesheff's directorial debut. A modern film that pays homage to the 80s era of action movies. The film is inspired by the great action movies of Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis. It's a fast paced action movie, with bits of humor along the way. Evan Reed is an ex M.I.6 agent who has become a mercenary for hire. Evan is hired by Cabinet Minister David Markham, to steal files containing incriminating evidence linking the MP to weapons contractors. After the mission Markham...

Kamikaze. It could be the greatest thing to happen to action inclined entertainment in Wales since Eve Myles starred in Torchwood and a certain Welsh-born director made a name for himself when he began filming Indonesian people punch each other in the face! Already, Kamikaze has the honor of being the first Welsh action film. Ever. Director and star Marcus Shakesheff has brought to the table all that he has learned from a lengthy career as a stuntman in Hollywood features. His resume is impressive. Red 2, Kick-Ass 2, Thor: The Dark World, World War Z, Game of Thrones, John Carter, Ra.One, Centurion. It goes on. Of course what remains to be seen is how well his experience has transferred onto his personal project. Given...
