Producer Charles Band, founder of Full Moon, started dreaming of having the Puppet Master characters cross over with the Demonic Toys characters while he was bringing the first Demonic Toys movie into the world back in 1992 – in fact, during the behind-the-scenes Video Zone that was put together for the release of Demonic Toys, Band revealed that Full Moon was considering having the puppets and toys face off in Puppet Master 4. That didn’t happen, Puppet Master 4 ended up being something totally different, but the idea of Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys was kept alive for over a decade. He had to sell off the rights to the Sci-Fi Channel, and they made the Puppet Master vs. Demonic Toys movie that was released in 2004. But now the crossover is finally happening under the Full Moon banner…...

Just over a year ago, it was announced that October Games and Full Moon Features were teaming up for a multiplayer PC video game based on Full Moon’s popular Puppet Master series. A game that would be free to play, and was expected to be released sometime in 2022. They didn’t make that hoped-for release window, but now October Games has confirmed that the Puppet Master video game will be receiving an Open Beta release on March 1, 2023!
The Puppet Master video game is coming along slightly later than intended because the developers decided to go ahead and add a single player mode to the game. The multiplayer side of things has been their main focus, but now a single player sandbox game is in the mix as well. Single player mode is called Toulon’s Journals, and will allow players to complete challenges, fight bad guys, earn experience points,...

A little over a year ago, it was revealed that October Games was working with Full Moon Features to create a video game based on the Puppet Master series. Well, a year on, and the first developer log for Puppet Master: The Game has revealed several goodies, including contributor to Bd Nat Brehmer (who wrote Puppet Master Complete: A Franchise History) having worked on the game!
Currently slated to be released in Open Beta on March 1st, 2023, the first devlog for the asymmetrical multiplayer game features lead designer Drake Kazmierczak and lead audio designer Nicholas Haye chatting it up about the project, including the explanation of why the game won’t be released this year. Part of that is due to a new game mode being added called Toulon’s Journals, a single player sandbox mode where you can complete challenges, earn experience points, and find the lost pages of Andre Toulon’s journal.

Spare a thought for Huntress and Black Canary, for the Clown Princess of Crime has officially taken top billing on Birds of Prey.
Shortly after its release (and subsequent failure at the domestic box office), Warner Bros. made the decision to rebrand its Suicide Squad spinoff as Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey, all in the hope of boosting Seo (search engine optimization) so that budding comic book movie fans are able to find the movie as quickly as possible. Seemingly, Birds of Prey doesn’t garner as much engagement online without overtly adding a dose of Dr. Quinzel.
It’s a situation that evokes memories of Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt’s far-future thriller Edge of Tomorrow, which was later titled Live Die Repeat in time for its home video release – a fate that will likely befall Harley as well. So you can effectively say goodbye to the whole ‘Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn.
