- Extremely athletic, competed at the Intercollegiate level playing Soccer, Track, and Basketball at the California State University, Los Angeles.
- Amelie's sister, Liz McKendry, is an accomplished singer and dancer working in Manhattan. Among her many credits, she appeared in the Broadway production of "The Producers" in 2005.
- NYC Rooftop Story, which Amelie acted in two supporting roles and was the associate producer won Best Short Film at the Madrid International Film Festival, the Indie Fest Award in L.A., and Best Producer at the International Film Festival of Manhattan.
- Amelie was part of a Female Producer team for The Kids Menu Movie at Collaborative Media Productions. This indie darling swept film festivals with 22 awards in every category. Amelie was not only one of the Female Producers on the Kids Menu, but also Vincent Pastore assistant on the film. Starring Vincent Pastore & Nyle Lynn written by Richard Vetere and directed by Paul Borghese, executive produced by Maayan Schneider.
- In 2010, Amelie was named Best Actress at the 48-Hour Film Festival in Buffalo and received the Audience Award for her work.
- Amelie Starred in Double Vision and was awarded Best Thriller Film at Hell's Kitchen NYC Festival in 2020. Double Vision Movie was also chosen the Winner of Audience Award at the International Film Festival Manhattan in 2021.
