Filters personal projects through long-time film partner Matt Balzer before
actually deciding to take them to screen.
Most personal projects feature a fictional Mexican Restaurant called
Paco's.
In High School, along with Philip Aldredge, starting with a quarter of a tank of gas in his automobile, five dollars, a VHS Camcorder, and a blank tape, he spent a full year making a two and a half hour movie called Far From Over.
Since the age of 3, he always wanted to work in the creature shop of ILM. Part of his later decision of going into Visual Effects rather than Practical was that almost everything coming out in the late 90s was more and more computer oriented and less mechanical. In 2006, some 27 years later. He started at ILM as a Roto/Paint Artist on Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End.
