Matteo Minetto was born in Milan, Italy on April 4, 1974. A graduate of
the University of Padua with a psychology degree, he moves to Paris in
1998.
He founds and manages a French branch of an Italian group specializing in the rental of film equipment.
During this period, he studies at the Conservatory Libre du Cinema Francais where he directs short films on video and on 16 mm. In 2005, he creates Micromega Productions, which has produced, to date, seven films awarded internationally.
The same year, he directs "Intimita", a 35 mm short film awarded at Barcelona, New York, Warsaw and purchased by Canal Plus France. En 2008, La Fura In Vivo is his first feature-length documentary, now in Locarno.
