- She is daughter of the Venezuelan A-list actor José Torres, who played in more than 50 Spaghetti Western movies, also known as Italo-Westerns, in the 60s and 70s. He was one of the first Latin American actors to work in European Cinema.
- In 2012, her work was recognized with a nomination as Best Supporting Actress in The Venezuelan Film Festival, for her role in Margarita Cadenas'film "Cenizas Eternas" aka "Eternal Ashes".
- At the age of seventeen, she formally began to pursue an acting career. She joined "Teatro Universitario para Niños El Chichón".
- Arlette Torres use to work also as a Hatha Yoga instructor.
- She has a degree in Social Communications (Journalism and Mass Media) from the Universidad Central of Venezuela.
- Her film "Azul y no tan rosa" aka "My Straight son" won as the Best Iberoamerican Film in Goya Award in 2014.
