Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers from the Season 1 finale of “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars” on Fox.
A (food) star was born on Fox Wednesday, when Gordon Ramsay picked the winner of his new food business-focused competition series.
Out of the trio of remaining food-and-beverage-industry-entrepreneur competitors — Caroline D’Amore (founder of Pizza Girl), Chris Kanik (founder of Smart Cups) and Lan Ho (founder of Fat Milk) — the celebrity chef revealed he’d selected Kanik as the Season 1 winner of “Gordon Ramsay’s Food Stars.”
Kanik’s prize? A $250,000 personal investment from Ramsay in Kanik’s sustainable-beverage-packaging business, Smart Cups, and Ramsay’s partnership in the endeavor moving forward.
Greg Gayne/Fox
Ramsay told Kanik that his design, which eliminates the need for traditional liquid-filled products by printing the ingredients inside the plant-based container and only requiring water be added to turn it into a variety of beverages, “could quite honestly change the world.

The cast and crew of “The Hills: New Beginnings” were just a few weeks into filming Season 2 when the world shut down due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I think that just immediately, it was super frustrating because we had been so excited to get going for Season 2 and we had a ton of really interesting developments,” executive producer Alex Baskin says of the halt in production. “We were all bummed out because we were hitting our stride, and then we were sidelined for a while.”
Production on “The Hills: New Beginnings” didn’t fully resume until November 2020, but Baskin wasn’t worried about the time spent apart affecting the quality of the show.
“The thing about this group is that there’s always story in that the relationships are always changing anyway, so you can always pick back up — it’s just at a different place,” Baskin says.

The Hills may not be dead quite yet.
Just weeks after it was announced the series has been placed on indefinite hold due to the Covid-19 pandemic, comes a glimmer of hope.
TMZ is reporting that MTV and Evolution Media are toying with the idea of putting the entire cast into a bubble for some time to finish filming the second season.
Three episodes were in the can ahead of the shutdown, and the producers put a wealth of safety measures in place to allow the cast to film the show safely.
Unfortunately for fans, MTV calls the shots here and they opted to keep the show out of production in a move that shocked the cast.
If the cast film in one home in a bubble, it would make it similar to the network's other series Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, which finds the cast leaving their families to live together.

When The Hills: New Beginnings returns for Season 2, Mischa Barton will not be a part of the cast.
TMZ broke the news, noting that The Oc alum did not bring enough to the reboot to return.
“Our sources say producers found Mischa’s story line a bit bland, and her personality a little boring,” TMZ reported.
“Bottom line, she wasn’t bringing much drama to the show.”
While everyone else is expected to return for Season 2, Brody Jenner reportedly landed a lucrative deal that will see him earn around $50k per episode.
It's unclear how much the rest of the cast is paid, but given that the show's popularity pales in comparison to its predecessor, it's likely nowhere near that much.
Barton struck a chord with viewers for opening up about her highly publicized past, including her feud with Perez Hilton.

If Scott Disick was the responsible adult last night when he took 16-year-old Kylie and 17-year-old Kendall Jenner to a 21-and-over nightclub, Kris oughta be plenty worried, because he was off the hinges earlier in the night.Scott was at a Style Fashion Week L.A. event earlier in the evening with Kylie and Kendall. He was drinking and acting belligerent ... to the point where one of the models (Caroline D'Amore) flipped him off.At...

Activision E3 2010 Preview Event which was held at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Monday, June 14 has brought out stars. Vanessa Hudgens and socialite Paris Hilton were among celebrities who hit the red carpet of the global trade show for computer and video games.
At the event, Vanessa was not accompanied by boyfriend Zac Efron since he was in Hawaii for the Maui Film Festival where he'll be honored with an award. Vanessa stepped out with Bff Brittany Snow and posed for camera frenzy.
Paris, in the meantime, made a solo appearance since her rumored boyfriend, Las Vegas nightclub mogul Cy Waits, wasn't seen at the event. The 29-year-old hotel heiress stole the spotlight in her floral print dress matched with white heels.

It's all fun and games until someone gets stabbed with a tire iron. This was the lesson learned by the girls of "Sorority Row" . the terrifying horror film now arriving on Blu-ray and DVD February 23, 2010 from Summit Home Entertainment. Like most lessons learned, this one doesn't come with ease, but proves to have no shortage of thrills, sass and sex appeal. The line-up of beautiful sorority sisters in peril includes Briana Evigan ("Step Up 2: The Streets") Leah Pipes (TV's "Life Is Wild"), Rumer Willis ("The House Bunny"), Jamie Chung ("Dragonball"), Margo Harshman ("Even Stevens"), Audrina Patridge (MTV's "The Hills") and Caroline D'Amore ("Entourage") as the sisters of Theta Pi, easily the hottest sorority on campus at Rosman University. Carrie Fisher ("E-girl") also stars as...

Quirky hip-hopper Shwayze has just released the official video for the hit single Get U Home, which also features the cast of the upcoming slasher remake Sorority Row getting sloshed and jumping around a lot. That prospect alone should be incentive enough for you to hit that jump and check it out. The Malibu-based Shwayze (aka Aaron Smith) and guitar-slinging partner in crime Cisco Adler appear as themselves in the video – which was shot by the feature film's director, Stewart Hendler, and most of the main cast. The duo supply the music at a drunken sorority party for the movie's characters, as played by Rumer Willis, Leah Pipes, Briana Evigan, Margo Harshman, and Caroline D'Amore... all of whom...

Thursday, September 3, has seen the Los Angeles premiere of Summit Entertainment's horror thriller "Sorority Row". While red carpet was rolled down in front of ArcLight Hollywood, the special screening was dominated with black as many of the film's stars and other celebrity guests coming were opting to dress in the dark color.
Rumer Willis who stars as Ellie, Briana Evigan who takes on Cassidy, Audrina Patridge who plays Megan, and Jamie Chung who portrays Claire all went dark on the special occasion. Their co-stars, Leah Pipes and Margo Harshman, however chose to go with a lighter color. Pipes went with light magenta, while Harshman wore an ivory white gown.
Some of the girls didn't walk down the red carpet solo. Willis arrived accompanied by her boyfriend Micah Alberti and celebrity mother Demi Moore. Meanwhile, Evigan brought along her famous family, mother Pamela Serpe, father Greg Evigan and sister Vanessa Lee Evigan.

When five sorority girls inadvertently cause the murder of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong, they agree to keep the matter to themselves and never speak of it again, so they can get on with their lives. Don't say Shwayze and Cisco Adler aren't addressing the pressing issues of the day. Some public figures take on health care reform, the shaky economy, the war on terror. Shwayze and Adler, with their single "Get U Home," are addressing a thorny situation they seem to be saying often afflicts them.
"The song was pretty much a party song," Shwayze told MTV News, "and it really pinpoints and describes how a man feels when he's at the club a little intoxicated, sees a pretty girl, but home is far away, or maybe you don't have enough money to get a hotel."

Kim Kardashian is in no rush to find a new boyfriend though she has broken up with NFL player Reggie Bush. Her socialite-model friend Caroline D'Amore tells Marc Malkin of E! News, "I definitely don't think we'll be seeing Kim with anyone anytime soon. Reggie was the major love of her life, and it's not going to be easy to just meet someone new."
And now that Kim is single, Caroline suggests the reality TV star to enjoy her time. "Have fun, be with the girls and be young," Caroline states, adding "Chill out. No one needs to have babies right now, anyway."
Kim Kardashian had been dating Reggie Bush for two years when she had her representative confirming their separation late last month. Soon after that she took it to her Twitter account to inform fans that she was doing okay despite the break-up and thank them for their love and support.

Here is part 3 of our The Women of Sorority Row series featuring socialite, Caroline D'Amore, who is most famous for being part of the Lindsay Lohan "fire crotch" incident. She has also modeled, has her own line of swimwear, is sometimes a DJ and has acted in the low budget horror film Ghost Games. D'Amore plays "Maggie" in Sorority Row which hits theaters September 11, 2009. I guess the best way to describe her is a D-list Paris Hilton.

Things are getting pretty hot in the Sorority House since MTV unleashed two new pics from Summit Entertainment's upcoming reboot of the 'not-so-classic' 80's slasher flick The House on Sorority Row. From what we've seen so far, Row looks like it could be a strong cross between I Know What You Did Last Summer and the 2006 remake of Black Christmas. As long as it sticks with a hard R rating and doesn't take itself too seriously, Sorority Row has the potential to be a fun diversion for slasher fans. Hit the jump for the full pic, and let us know what you think. In the pic, from the left: Leah Pipes, Brianna Evigan, Caroline D'Amore, and Rumer Willis.
