In celebration of today’s release of the new Paramore album, After Laughter, we’re paying homage to the beloved music videos that perfectly captured our 2000s angst and went down as legends.
Prepare to bask in the dejection:
Paramore: “Misery Business”
We could never look as good as Hayley Williams with fiery red hair, but we sure could try.
My Chemical Romance: “I’m Not Okay (I Promise)”
We lived for the band’s misfit antics in their movie trailer-inspired masterpiece. But what did Gerard Way just want to do?! The suspense haunts us to this day.

North Dakota’s own These Hearts have emerged onto the scene once again with their lastest Ep release titled Elephant In The Room. Followed up from their previous release in 2011 Forever Ended Yesterday, they have been active with tours and shows and not to mention the build up of their recent release, to again, blow your mind for the second time.
With an outstanding fanbase, they are currently on tour throughout Setpember all around the Us with other great bands, Broadway Us and From Outside.
Denial Is Not Just A River In Egypt, is a style of song you would very much expect from such bands as Senses Fail or A Day To Remember. A raw blend of heavy energy contrasted to soft melodies and pop-punk instruments, in the same song. A style of music which obviously has come around from recent years with the collide of different genres,...

I’m a huge fan of Rock Band, like so many others. Harmonix studios decided to take the next step of their powerhouse fake band music game by introducing the Rock Band Network to players.
What is it, exactly? MTV Gaming Executive, Paul Degooyer, provides a bit of an explanation:
“The Rock Band Network Music Store gives artists at any level the opportunity to reach new fans through our deeply engaging interactive platform. This new pathway for discovery is a huge win for passionate music fans, as well as an opportunity for artists to promote themselves while positively impacting their bottom line.”
The Rock Band Network allows musicians and their labels to directly pipe new music to gamers through Rock Band – where gamers can disover new artists and expand their taste in music.
More or less, it’s a fancy promotion system that lets gamers get access to new music through Rock Band.
