Good Times star John Amos is back on TV after months of allegations that he was the victim of elder abuse. The 84-year-old actor has been cast in the much-anticipated Suits: L.A. pilot along with Victoria Justice (Victorious), and Kevin Weisman (Alias). Suits: L.A. is a spinoff of Aaron Korsh‘s hit legal drama Suits, which gained new popularity over the past year after the former USA Network drama landed on streaming platforms Netflix and Peacock. The spinoff will center on Ted Black (Stephen Amell), a former federal prosecutor from New York, who has reinvented himself by representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. Together with his old buddy Stuart Lane (Josh McDermitt), the pair build Black Lane Law, which specializes in criminal and entertainment law. According to Deadline, Amos will play a version of himself, a client of Black Lane Law and a long-time friend of Ted. This...

There may not be a more daunting artist from the twentieth century (and beyond) to grapple with in any form than Bob Dylan. The folk music legend is regarded by many as the most influential songwriter of the last 60-plus years, and, at the age of 82, is just as relevant today as he was in his rebellious young adulthood. He pricked the nation's conscience in the early 1960s with classic protest anthems like "The Times They Are a-Changin'," "Blowin' in the Wind" and "A Hard Rain's a-Gonna Fall," inspiring many a teenager and twentysomething to pick up an acoustic guitar and sing their truth. Then, in what his folkie colleagues/admirers took as a betrayal, he went electric. This would be the first of many confounding transformations. In a way, he kept throwing fans off the scent of the big "Who is Bob Dylan?" question by, every few years, getting...

I have this really bad habit when I watch new shows. I am always late to the party. It happens all the time. I watch a pilot of a TV show, write it off and then years later I find out it’s an incredible piece of work. Community, Brooklyn 99, Superstore, and Babylon 5 are a few that come to mind. Sure, you can still do many of these things after the show but, like a fresh slice of pizza, it always tastes better fresh out of the oven. Fringe is another slice that I have had to microwave. The series followed a quirky scientist, an estranged criminal son, and a badass FBI agent on some dark and fascinating twists and turns. These would involve alternate dimensions,...

Every relationship has its secrets.
Some are more significant than others, and when Hannah's husband disappears, leaving only a terse message behind, "Protect her," she must team up with Owen's daughter, Bailey, to discover the truth of his disappearance.
This sets up a situation in which Bailey must rely on and trust the stepmother she dislikes, and Hannah must become the mother Bailey needs.
The Last Thing He Told Me is a new Apple TV+ series based on the bestselling book by Laura Dave.
Dave adapted the book for screen alongside her husband, Josh Singer (Fringe), with Hello Sunshine's Reese Witherspoon and Lauren Neustadter.
Jennifer Garner is Hannah, Angourie Rice is Bailey, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau is husband and father, Owen.
The series is being promoted as a bit of a thriller, and it's easy to understand why, but it's important to stress that it's as much, if not more, a family drama.
