Named a Bay State Conference First Team All-Star as a defensive
specialist and captain of his high school volleyball team. Also starred
as a fullback on his school's varsity soccer team, who voted him "Most
Likely To Be a Volleyball Captain" and gave him the award for "Most
Fouls In Least Amount of Minutes Played." Started at point guard for a
two-time state champion in his Jewish basketball league, although he
was regrettably cut from his high school basketball team as a freshman
when he was forced to wear a back brace for a year after breaking a
vertebrae during a soccer throw-in.
