Adna Sablyich

Having given nearly twenty years to the stage, trained and performed
under a number of worldwide theatre performance techniques and
influences, Adna has a giant stage presence and a performer versatility
rarely found. Born and raised in the town of Mostar, in the southern
part of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the family of lawyers - civil
servants, she migrated to Great Britain in 1992, at the age of 18.
Alongside two simultaneous schools (The Music School and the general
primary, then later The High School for Languages and Literature), Adna
laid her theatre foundations with "Mostar Youth Theatre", influenced by
Jerzy Grotowski. Upon her arrival to the UK, she trained with John
Wright at BA Acting, Middlesex University in London and since then has
co-devised and performed in dozens of productions across media. On
screen, she appeared in a succession of short films; then in an episode
of The Bill (1984); followed by
Prime Suspect: The Last Witness (2003)
