Born in Australia to Italian parents, Daniel F. Cardone worked on critically acclaimed productions such as
The Home Song Stories (2007),
Animal Kingdom (2010), and the Emmy award-winning
The Pacific (2010). Daniel was also an Associate Producer on Australian sitcom
Outland (2012). After moving to the US, Daniel directed the segment Construct of the feature documentary
Still Around (2011), in addition to writing and directing the short film
Incident (2012), which premiered at Palm Springs Shortfest 2012. Daniel also directed the second unit sequences for the feature length documentary
The Life and Crimes of Doris Payne (2013). In 2015 he debuted his first feature film, the stunning and evocative documentary
Desert Migration (2015). Daniel is Manager of Nonfiction Programs for Film Independent, and is in production on his second feature documentary,
The Experiencer Project.
