With more than a dozen high-profile venues in their hospitality portfolio (Delilah, Bootsy Bellows, Bird Streets Club), The h.wood Group’s John Terzian and Brian Toll are the go-to-guys for L.A.’s coveted tables, the masterminds behind A-lister nights out and the gatekeepers of exclusive events surrounding Super Bowl and Paris Fashion Week. Now, they are harnessing the industry connections they have amassed over two decades to create h.wood Media, a multimedia production arm of their hospitality company.
Partner Jeremy Allen, who helped h.wood Media raise its first fund, oversees the film and TV slate from development to studio projects. They are working on projects with Kid Cudi, Machine Gun Kelly, Post Malone, and more. Former HBO executive Emma Slivers serves as director of development.
The multi-strategy vertical grew from a collaboration between Allen, Toll and Terzian on 2022’s They Call Me Magic, an Emmy-nominated Apple+ docuseries about Magic Johnson.

“Please leave the grid,” the voice on the loudspeaker announced over and over again to the thick crowd that gathered at the starting lines for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix on Nov. 18. It was moments before the 10 p.m. Saturday evening debut of the 3.8 mile, 210 mph race that wound through the streets of Las Vegas, and famous onlookers were everywhere around the track. While the sport has always attracted the elite, on this occasion the invited guest list was befitting all the spectacle and hoopla surrounding the half-billion-dollar event. Justin Bieber, Cara Delevingne, Patrick Dempsey, Terry Crews, Kylie Minogue, Brad Pitt, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Lucas, David Beckham, Usain Bolt, Steve Aoki, Gordon Ramsay, Lupita Nyong’o, Lindsey Vonn, Shawn White Martin Garrix, Sir Rod Stewart, Anthony Mackie, Gayle King, Brooklyn Beckham and more milled about, from the garages, the grid and pit to the exclusive Wynn...

When Beyoncé brought her Renaissance tour to Los Angeles last month, stars like Meghan Markle and Katy Perry were spotted in SoFi Stadium’s upper-level suites, taking in a bird’s eye view of the dazzling show below. But the best seats in the house perhaps, may not have been from above, but rather from the row of luxe private suites lining the sides of the stadium, where VIP guests danced the night away with drinks in hand from a private bar and made-to-order food delivered to their seats.
The Beyoncé shows were a fitting kickoff to another season of Bootsy Bellows at SoFi Stadium, a new food, fashion and entertainment concept that transforms private suites at SoFi into intimate and upscale experiences inspired by the Hollywood hotspot.

Back in March 2020, Tue Nguyen was a little-known prep cook at Spago making mukbangs (or eating videos) and restaurant reviews and posting them online during her free time.
Today, she has more than a million followers across TikTok and Instagram and a forthcoming cookbook with Simon & Schuster and is opening her first restaurant, Di Di, in early July. “It’s been crazy,” she says, reflecting on how quickly her life has changed.
Though she admits she was insecure at first about publicizing her cooking on social media, when the pandemic hit, “I said, ‘Fuck it. Let’s just do it,’ ” recalls Nguyen, who’s known by the social media handle @TwayDaBae.
She started making videos of herself cooking Vietnamese cuisine for anyone who’d watch. Her first video was an easy recipe for fried rice posted to TikTok that has since garnered more than 1.3 million likes.

Odell Beckham Jr. is allegedly a suspect in an assault investigation, though a rep for the football star denies this and tells Popsugar they "haven't been notified of any investigation." On April 21, TMZ reported that law enforcement informed them that a woman had accused the athlete of grabbing her by the throat at Los Angeles restaurant Delilah. Sources also claimed to TMZ that Beckham Jr. and the accuser remained at the restaurant after the alleged incident occurred.
However, Delilah owner John Terzian denies that the incident occurred, telling Popsugar in a statement provided by Beckham Jr.'s rep, "We were contacted about an investigation and reviewed the videos, the claim is false. There is no evidence of this person even being in the area where she claims the incident occurred." The LAPD did not immediately respond to Popsugar's request for comment.

“Well you know, I was known for my parties,” the NBA legend laughs. “I had the best parties in Hollywood. Everybody wanted to come to the pool parties.”
Michael Cooper, a Lakers guard from 1978-1990, says, “It was fun, it was exciting. If you were a married guy, you’d get in trouble. If you were a single guy, you could get in trouble.”
There were plenty of beautiful women at these parties, but wives and girlfriends were not invited, which upset Johnson’s future wife Cookie so much, she walked out on him. The two eventually reunited and have now been married more than 30 years.

Basketball legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson will be the subject of a new feature film documentary from Xtr, H.wood Media, Nsv and Delirio Films.
The filmmakers say they have been granted “unprecedented access” to the Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, whose dominance on the court helped drive the Los Angeles Lakers to five championships. The film will also rely on archival footage of Johnson, as well as interviews with the superstar, his family, fellow NBA players and business leaders.
