- Wrote her first screenplay at the age of 13.

- Has five daughters; Amaris, Aria Isabella, Anais, Aliya and Avana Grace.
- Earned a doctorate degree from Argosy University in 2012, in Counseling Psychology.
- Her husband, Roc Ramey, is an ordained minister and filmmaker.
- Writes articles and books about juvenile justice prevention and relationships.
- Is the baby of five and is extremely close to her siblings and her parents.
