"The whole world... is under attack!" Vertical Entertainment has unveiled an official Us trailer for the sci-fi spin-off sequel Beyond Skyline, which is indeed a sort-of sequel to the sci-fi disaster Skyline from a few years back. And from the looks of it, this one is going to be just as much of a disaster. The directors of the original film have produced this, though they've let Liam O'Donnell direct this time. Beyond Skyline tells the story of a detective who goes into one of the alien spaceships to rescue his son. Frank Grillo stars, with Bojana Novakovic, Iko Uwais, Callan Mulvey, Valentine Payen, Betty Gabriel, Jack Chausse, and Kevin O'Donnell. I've heard this film is a big mess, but still has some badass action in it. Take a look. Here's the new official Us trailer for Liam O'Donnell's Beyond Skyline, direct from YouTube: You can still watch the...

"Do exactly as I say." An international trailer has debuted for the sci-fi spin-off sequel Beyond Skyline, which is indeed related to the odd sci-fi disaster Skyline from a few years back. Anyone else remember that one? Why the directors of the original film have moved on, they did produce this, though their company Hydraulx is no longer involved. Instead, Liam O'Donnell has directed Beyond Skyline telling the story of a detective who goes into one of the alien spaceships to rescue his son. Frank Grillo stars, along with a cast including Bojana Novakovic, Iko Uwais, Callan Mulvey, Valentine Payen, Betty Gabriel, Jack Chausse, and Kevin O'Donnell. This looks kind of cool, I really dig the alien designs, but I have a feeling it's going to be terrible. No matter how much they tried to improve this, it still seems like a huge disaster. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster...

The program bills the raunchy comedy as "Let's Kill Grandma This Christmas: The Other F**king Christmas Story," so that should give theatergoers a solid clue what to expect.
The off-Broadway comedy, which opened Monday night at Theatre at St. Clements and runs through Jan. 6, is suggested for no one under 13. I'd suggest older, at least 16.
There's nothing wrong with a raunchy comedy; in fact, there's a lot right with it. But unless you are comfortable with your teens hearing explicitly about various sex acts -- with the F-word as a constant adjective, noun and verb -- drugs and extremely adult situations, keep this for adults.
That warning out of the way -- this is fun. Two sisters, Jen and Leigh (Brandi Nicole Wilson and Katie Webber, Broadway's "Rock of Ages" and TV's "Smash") and their husbands Brett and Carl (Kevin O'Donnell, Broadway's "Irena's Vow" and TV's "Unforgettable" and James Wirt...

Brittany Daniel (Club Dread, The Hamiltons) has been casting alongside the previously announced Kate Mara, Eric Balfour, Laz Alonso, Crystal Reed, Scottie Thompson and Donald Faison in Colin and Greg Strause's (Aliens vs Predator: Requeim) latest genre effort, Skyline, which is now filming in Los Angeles from a screenplay by Joshua Cordes and Liam O'Donnell. David Zayas, Neil Hopkins, Kevin O'Donnell and Phet Mahathongdy all round out the cast. After a late night party, a group of friends are awoken in the dead of the night by an eerie light beaming through the window. Like moths to a flame, the light source is drawing people outside before they suddenly vanish into the air. They soon discover an otherwordly force is swallowing the entire human population off the face of the earth. Now our band of survivors must fight for their lives as the world unravels around them.
