Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis attended Kabbalah Chief Rabbi Philip Berg's funeral in Israel on Wednesday. The burial took place in the city of Safed, which is an ancient town located in the northern part of the country. The couple was seen wearing white and surrounded by a large group during the outdoor ceremony. According to ancient practice, wearing white is believed to attract positive energy. Ashton wore a long-sleeve shirt and baggy white pants and topped the outfit off with a baseball cap to cover his head throughout the religious service. Meanwhile, his girlfriend was spotted wearing a white tank top and matching skinny jeans. The two held onto one another as they stood...

Today in Ashton-Demi Divorce Watch: Us Weekly is reporting that Ashton Kutcher was “somber” at last night’s GQ Gentleman’s Ball, where he and Demi (who wasn’t there) were honored for their Real Men Don’t Buy Girls campaign. Of course, the theory, as posited by Us Weekly, is that he was unusually serious and pensive because he was thinking remorsefully about maybe possibly cheating on Demi. Here are a couple of other possible explanations:
» His date was his spiritual mentor, Rabbi Philip Berg. That’s always intimidating!
» He was being honored for campaigning against human trafficking. LOLz! (And this is in New York, where the Village Voice has been ripping into his Real Men ads as misleading.)
» He realized that Two and a Half Men is kind of a crappy show.
Anyway, check out these pics of Ashton gesticulating onstage. Come up with some captions of your...

Rabbi Yehuda Berg even accompanied the couple on their recent camping trip to help save their marriage -- here's what's going on! Ashton Kutcher is getting some help convincing Demi Moore not to move forward with their divorce. HollywoodLife.com has learned that Rabbi Yehuda Berg -- the son of Philip Berg, who founded the Kabbalah Centre -- is trying to save Demi and Ashton's marriage, because he feels their divorce will reflect badly on Kabbalah. Ashton, who was accused of sleeping with 22-year-old Sara Leal on the eve of his sixth wedding anniversary to Demi, has been leaning heavily on Rabbi Berg for support. The rabbi has remained close with the couple ever since he officiated their wedding in 2005, even accompanying them on a trip to Israel in Oct. 2010. Our source stresses that Ashton is against the idea of a divorce, and is willing to do whatever it takes to make his marriage work.

The star's much-lauded effort to help girls in the African nation of Malawi blew up. In this week's Newsweek, Wayne Barrett looks at how much Kabbalah had to do with it.
One year ago, Madonna squatted in the rust-colored dirt of a sprawling empty lot outside Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi, one of the poorest countries in the world. With curious villagers and invited photographers crowding around, she laid the ceremonial first brick for a planned $15 million girls' academy, a noble mission in a nation where only 27 percent of girls attend secondary school. In a blog post on the website of her Raising Malawi foundation, she wrote that the brick, inscribed with the words "Dare to Dream," was "not just the bedrock to a school-it is a foundation for our shared future."

Tension racked New York's Kabbalah Centre after an "enemy" of sect leader Philip Berg tried to spread a false story that Berg's wife, Karen, was having an affair with a senior member in the organization. Rabbi Berg -- who is called "The Rav" by followers and presides over ceremonies in a white robe -- has been recovering from a serious stroke for a number of years, during which his younger wife has taken over much of his role. But sources tell us a disgruntled ex-member of Kabbalah has been maliciously and untruthfully claiming Karen has...

Madonna’s new spiritual leader may be a man named Muki.
According to sources, Israeli Moshe “Muki” Oppenheimer–who does not speak English– has left his home in Efrat, a settlement in the West Bank, to globe-trot with Kabbalah Center leader Karen Berg in glitzier places like New York, Los Angeles, and even Brazil.
Five years ago, the 67 year old Berg was described in a British newspaper profile as seeming “lonely.”
Her much older husband, Philip (they call him “the Rav”) had had a devastating stroke. Karen had taken the reins of the worldwide, money hungry “religion” that sells red strings for $26 and books for learning at $500. She was operating the business– with millions in real estate holdings– with her two sons, Michael and Yehuda. She was spending her time buying expensive jewelry and getting plastic surgery.
But now I’m told that Karen may be lonely no more.
