Upon receiving his B.A. from Laguna Beach College of Fine, Mr. Salas went to pursue his career working as a Glass Sculptor Artist, Architectural Designer, and Commercial Photographer, which led him to pursue his interest to further study Digital Design and 3D Modelling specializing in Alias Wavefront Maya software. Through his carrier Philip has become a renowned traditional media and digital artist who for the past 25 + years, has been actively mentoring and leading his peers in the capacity of lead Environment Artist, Character / Environment Concept Artist, Art Director, and Creative Director/ Producer, for established development studios such as Dreamworks Interactive, Treyark, Activision, Sony SCEA, and Section Studios, as well showcasing his personal works for private collectors and clientele worldwide. In addition to his years of experience in the video game industry, Mr. Salas has also worked for Commercial Broadcast and Post, creating VFX for clients such as "Coca-Cola", "Fiat", "Volvo", "Movistar", and has worked in the Film Industry in the capacity of assistant Art Director and Construction Coordinator for Feature Film "Boiling Point", Warners Brothers release.
Mr. Salas has cultivated a solid understanding of the development process, market participants, and global industry culture by working alongside, training, and mentoring, amazing talent world-wide.
