- Award-winning actor Johary Ramos is a graduate of The Actors Center Conservatory in NYC. Has credits on both stage and on screen. He has worked extensively on stage, TV, film, Commercials, Games. Voiceovers, Industrials and dance. He is an alumni of The University of Puerto Rico where he began his acting and dance training. Some of his film and TV credits include: Bucky F*cking Dent (2023), Red Dead Redemption II (2018), Howl (2010), Siempre piel canela (1997), Live with Kelly and Mark (1988), La movida (1991), Sábado gigante (1986).
He has extensive theater credits with companies such as: Teatro Círculo, Pregones, The Puerto Rican Traveling Theater, Wings Theater, Spanish Repertory Theater and IATI among many others.
As a dancer Johary performed and toured extensively with well known Latin recording artists/singers such as: Ednita Nazario, Danny Rivera, Yolandita Monge, Yuri, Elvis Crespo, ... and featured in musicals like Fosse, Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes, New York City Opera and as a company member of Ballets de San Juan in his native Puerto Rico.
He is known for his portrayal of Private Other (Soldado Otro) in Pregones/IATI's "Blanco" touring in Chile's theater festival- Los Temporales; as Juan Bobo in Teatro Círculo's "Los Titingós de Juan Bobo"; Jorge in Wings Theatre's "Tango Masculino" for which he obtained an OOBR Award for Excellence -breaking the Box Office record.
