Dark Winds will have another case to solve at AMC and AMC+.
The hit drama series has been renewed for Dark Winds Season 3.
A renewal was a no-brainer, with the cabler and its streaming sibling previously touting the show's continued success.
Dark Winds Season 2 averaged 1.7 million viewers during its first three days on the linear cable service.
Numbers for AMC+ have not been made available, but the network indicated that it had a strong footprint on the streaming service as the series aired.
Episodes were made available before their debuts on the service, so there was an incentive for fans to watch it earlier.
"We started this journey with very high hopes for this series, given the remarkable source material and extraordinary creative team behind it, and it has delivered on every level," said Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks.

Jeff Davis, developer and executive producer of Teen Wolf, the MTV series inspired by the “awfully good” 1985 Michael J. Fox comedy, has a new show in the works. Set up at the Paramount Plus streaming service, the new series is called Wolf Pack and it’s based on a series of novels written by Edo Van Belkom. One of the cast members is Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar – and today, Gellar took to her Instagram account to share an image of her character, arson investigator Kristin Ramsey:

Kristin Ramsey has the following description: “A highly regarded expert in her field and no stranger to personal loss, Kristin is brought in by authorities to catch the teenage arsonist who started a massive wildfire which may have also led to the reawakening of a supernatural predator terrorizing Los Angeles.

“Westworld” is one of the most compelling shows on television. It’s also one of the most confusing.
HBO’s prestige series, developed by Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan and based on the movie by Michael Crichton (that served as something of a prototype for his later novel “Jurassic Park”), is knotty and complex, weaving a complicated narrative out of the ongoing battle between humans and lifelike robots (called “hosts”) in a technologically-advanced near-future. Season 4, which premieres on June 26, takes place seven years after the events of the previous season (which aired more than two years ago) and is even further away from the theme-park-robots-run-amok conceit of the first season.
All of which is to say: you probably need a refresher. And we are here to deliver that refresher. At the very least, it’ll keep you from scratching your chin and running to Wikipedia every few minutes.
Mild spoilers...

"It’s not what you think." Personally, I've seen all I needed to see in the first trailer to get me excited for Jordan Peele's latest, but if you can't hold out until Nope's release on July 22nd, we have a look at the brand new trailer!
"Oscar® winner Jordan Peele disrupted and redefined modern horror with Get Out and then Us. Now, he reimagines the summer movie with a new pop nightmare: the expansive horror epic, Nope.
The film reunites Peele with Oscar® winner Daniel Kaluuya, who is joined by Keke Palmer and Oscar® nominee Steven Yeun as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.
Nope, which co-stars Michael Wincott and Brandon Perea, is written and directed by Jordan Peele and is produced by Ian Cooper and Jordan Peele for Monkeypaw Productions. The film will be released by Universal Pictures worldwide.
