Exclusive: Kirk Wise, known for his work on some iconic animated Disney films like Beauty and the Beast and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, has signed on to direct Sunny, the first animated feature from Enderby Entertainment.
Enderby CEO Rick Dugdale will produce the pic with Darrell Brown of Creative Anarchy. Todd Ireland will pen the screenplay based on a story by Dugdale and Brown. It’s about a boy named Sunny who must learn to control his emotions because his emotions control the sun.
Dan Petrie, Jr., Cam Cannon, and Zac Reeder will serve as executive producers.

Beverly Hills-based production and finance company Enderby Entertainment is expanding into Canada with the launch of a film and television production office.
Enderby Entertainment CEO Rick Dugdale said on Wednesday (November 4) that screenwriter Todd Ireland will serve as executive vice-president for Enderby Entertainment Canada, based in Kelowna, British Columbia.
Dugdale also announced the new division has acquired effects house Chariotdrive, which is in the process of relocating operations to British Columbia and will be run under the auspices of Enderby Entertainment Canada.

Red Sea Media has been in the news a lot lately, jumping onto the scene with films as varied as Dust Up, Synevir 3D, Hotel De Sade, and Bad Kids Go To Hell. Earlier this week, it was announced that Red Sea Media and its genre label Dead Sea Media have joined hands with Enderby Entertainment on a four film partnership. The first is Blood Shed, a film starring Bai Ling (The Crow), and the next is Encounter At Np-9, a paranormal thriller from the mind of Todd Ireland (a film crew veteran from such varied pictures as Watchmen, Tron: Legacy and Sucker Punch).
