- 3rd-round draft choice of the Pittsburgh Pirates in the June 1995 draft.
- Named after Charles Bronson
- Pitcher with the Pittsburgh Pirates (2000-2002), Boston Red Sox (2003-2005), and Cincinnati Reds (2006-present).
- Made major league debut on 12 June 2000.
- Was Traded to the Reds for Wily Mo Pena. This was considered a "Stupid" move by Red Sox GM Theo Epstein because Bronson had expressed how much he wanted to stay in Boston and even signed a 3 year contract for shot money. However Theo thought trading him was a good idea. The trading a Bronson many will say is why the Sox did not make the playoffs in 2006.
- (March 20) Traded to the Cincinnati Reds. (2006)
