In the November 2004 presidential election, he placed 6th in the
popular vote total, earning just over 100,000 votes, but received no
electoral votes.
Ran for Attorney General of Texas on the Green ticket in 2002. Though
unsuccessful, the Green Party of Texas grew dramatically during his
campaign, from four local chapters to 26.
Worked as a construction worker before graduating from the University
of Houston Law school in 1993. He later became the Green Party's
general counsel, after Green presidential candidate Ralph Nader asked
Cobb to organize his Texas campaign in 2000.
Was the 2004 presidential candidate of the U.S. Green Party.
