Dr. Leigh Waters (Angell Conwell) has a line of dialogue towards the end of Caretakers that I was desperate to hear since the beginning. She reminds the med student under her supervision (George Loomis’ Jones Berg) that he’s neither a psychologist nor a social worker and thus shouldn’t concern himself with questions or manufacture unsubstantiated answers about his patients beyond the already crucial job he has. I’d go even further by telling Jones he isn’t a detective either. He’s not a family member, bodyguard, or any other label he pretends to be due to deep-seeded grief within himself as a means of fixing strangers who don’t want to be fixed. He blames himself for his father’s death and works tirelessly to ensure nobody he knows ever dies again.

Will Loomis, frontman for the band Loomis & the Lust, is suing rising the British songstress for copyright infringement, accusing her of ripping off their song "Bright Red Chords" for her top 10 hit, "Domino." Jessie J is being sued by California's Loomis & the Lust, who claim that her track "Domino" sounds a lot like their song "Bright Red Chords."The band's lead singer, Will Loomis, alleges that Jessie J's biggest Stateside hit has a few striking similarities to portions of the band's own 2008 track. He is suing not only Jessie, but also Universal Music Group, Lava Records and Universal Republic Records. "Mr. Loomis never consented to the use of his song," lawyer Chris Arledge wrote in a statement to Billboard. "And we look forward to obtaining an appropriate remedy from the court for this clear infringement."
In April, Loomis uploaded a video of the band's song with Jessie's vocals laid on it, but the clip has since been removed on "copyright grounds.
