Hulu's thriller "Deep Water," based on the book of the same name, is an intense mind game of what one husband does when he reaches the end of his rope with his unfaithful wife.
Starring former real-life couple Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas as married couple Vic and Melinda, "Deep Water" keeps you guessing the whole way through. What's actually interesting is that you're essentially handed the answer to "whodunnit?" early on, but the implications of what it all means are what will keep you up at night. Confused? Let's discuss.

Shaggy Manhattan auteur Onur Tukel’s latest film isn’t entirely new: Originally conceived as an ongoing TV series, “Black Magic for White Boys” premiered at Tribeca a couple of years ago as several preliminary episodes. But when prospects didn’t pan out in that format, he shot additional footage to create the current feature. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the result still has a loose, episodic feel, with a somewhat casual attitude toward the concept of “narrative arc” — qualities not at all at odds with Tukel’s prior output.
This ensemble comedy with a silly supernatural angle, centered on a decrepit Off Off Broadway theater, won’t be its maker’s belated breakthrough. But for those who grok his amiably misanthropic, offhand brand of humor, it will comprise another satisfyingly idiosyncratic chapter in a singular career that carries forward a trail previously blazed by the likes of Woody Allen, Henry Jaglom and...

In a world where white Americans start feeling unjustly marginalized as the stranglehold of power they’ve possessed in this country since its inception begins to show cracks in a bid for true equality that they continue fighting tooth and nail against, they’ll steal whatever advantage they can to retain the status quo. They must since their success arrives from exploitation of labor from the lower class. They accrue a nest egg of profit, keep employees under thumb with the threat of firing them, and sit on their laurels buying property and investments in ways that optimize loopholes in the tax system. And anyone who gets in the way is simply removed from the equation via corruption, political clout, and for-profit healthcare. They wield their privilege with a magic wand.
So how does writer/director Onur Tukel help their quest to maintain world domination? He gives them real magic.

Felt (2014) Film Review, a movie directed by Jason Banker, and starring Amy Everson, Kentucker Audley, Ryan Creighton, Elisabet Ferrara, Roxanne Lauren Knouse, Merkley, Brendan Miller, Allana Reynolds, Tony Ruiz, Mark Skubala and Brandileigha Stracner
Coming out of Fantastic Fest, there was an Austin Texas sized buzz surrounding Jason Banker’s latest film, Felt. After the film’s premiere, Felt’s incisive look at rape culture sparked numerous reviews and think pieces. Felt is an unquestionably unique film; it openly defies the utilization of a traditional narrative structure and allows a first time actor’s (Amy Everson) performance to anchor the entire movie. Felt is an art house flick through and through. Banker leans heavily on the enthralling performance of Everson to keep his narratively diffuse film afloat.

Project X Red Band Trailer. Nima Nourizadeh‘s Project X (2012) red band movie trailer stars Nichole Bloom, Martin Klebba, Thomas Mann, Jonathan Daniel Brown, and Oliver Cooper. Project X‘s plot synopsis: “Three high school seniors throw a birthday party to make a name for themselves. As the night progresses, things begin to spiral insanely out of control as word of the party spreads.”
We previously posted the Project X (2012) Movie Trailer and the Project X (2012) Teaser Trailer.
The best trailer for this film hands down. I thought this looked like a skins party before, now it definitely does. I wish I was in attendance at this party.
Project X also stars Miles Teller, Sam Lant, Alexis Knapp, Brendan Miller, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Alex Rose Wiesel, Eddie Hassell, Peter Mackenzie, and Sophia Santi.

Much better than the Project X (2012) teaser trailer. The viewer now sees that the party far exceeds the realm of a backyard like the synopsis suggests, that everything spirals out of control, and that it receives national attention via Jimmy Kimmel and his late night show.
