- Shiraine Haas was born in Vancouver, BC to Trinidadian and German parents. She studied Psychology at Simon Fraser University and received her degree while initiating her career as a model and fashion show coordinator. After University, Shiraine set off to travel to Europe and the Middle East, where she was inspired to pursue her career in fashion and eventually settled in Italy. With those accomplishments under her belt, Shiraine returned to Vancouver and decided to study for and work her way into the Vancouver Film Industry. Her first acting job landed her a significant recurring role, playing Sarah, on the hit Japanese TV Mini-Series Proof Of The Man.
