NBC might have another hit on their hands. Ordinary Joe is heartfelt and fun, and the musical scenes add to its charm.
The series focuses on Joe Kimbreau(James Wolk), and on Ordinary Joe Season 1 Episode 1, he's faced with making an important decision at his college graduation.
Joe must choose between meeting his Bff with benefits Jenny at the lake, going to a family celebration dinner and being talked into being a cop, or asking Amy, the beautiful girl he bumped into at graduation on a date.
Eric: Please tell me you're going to the beach with Jenny Banks.
Joe: It’s complicated.
Eric: No, it’s simple. You both have been doing this back and forth dance since college.

In another, he goes home with his family after the ceremony and ends up following in his father’s and uncle’s footsteps, becoming a cop, and staying...
