A new NCIS podcast has been announced.
Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo host this new endeavor, which features guest stars from the NCIS Universe.
Weatherly played Agent Anthony Dinozzo on the NCIS cast for years. Dinozzo was an original character who spanned from the series premiere to the Season 13 finale.
de Pablo played Agent Ziva David on the NCIS cast from Season 3 until her exit early in Season 11. She later returned for an exciting episode arc featuring Leroy Jethro Gibbs (played by Marck Harmon).
While Tony and Ziva worked for NCIS, they also had a romantic relationship. The couple also had a daughter who lives with them in Europe.
Soon, Tony and Ziva will return in a new NCIS spin-off. Here is everything to know about the new NCIS show.

Netflix has changed its mind concerning the hit TV show NCIS. The streaming giant had said that it was removing the series completely at the end of June. This upset many fans, as it remains one of the most watched shows on television, and that includes on Netflix. The good news is that Netflix won’t remove the entire series.
Here is a look at what Netflix is doing with NCIS and when it goes into effect.
Netflix Will Keep Some NCIS Seasons After June
The original news stated that Netflix was removing NCIS from the streaming service at the end of June. It wasn’t much of a surprise since Paramount+ is the official home of the show and has the new episodes up after they air on CBS. However, for past seasons, the two streaming services shared the show.
That will remain true after June, now. However, it...

With all the NCIS franchise’s shows being over for a while until new seasons for some of them come later this year, the biggest problem to resolve isn’t even NCIS: Hawai’i’s cliffhanger that will probably never get its explanation, but rather Jessica Knight’s position.
In NCIS season 21 finale, the character left no doubts that she’s down for the big changes coming in her way after she accepted a big promotion. While it’s still uncertain whether she will in fact leave the entire show or will show up every so often as a guest star, what comes clear is that Knight’s position will soon become vacant for another character to take over, and, it’s fair to say, there’s already a long list of worthy candidates.

NCIS’ franchise is finally taking a closer look at its pivotal characters, and we’re here for it. As the show completely changes its direction shifting from location-centric rather character-centric spinoffs, chances are that fans will finally get answers to some pending questions which have been around for several seasons.
One of the NCIS’ upcoming installments also includes a spinoff about Tony Dinozzo and Ziva David, and it may shed some more light on the latter’s big family drama that was never talked about enough ever since season 10.
Ziva David makes her first appearance in NCIS season 3 taking over Caitlin Todd’s position, but her backstory starts coming out of the shadows when her father, Eli David, shows up starting from season 6.
Being a director of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, Eli has a lot of issues with his children who reject the idea of working for their father...

CBS’ police procedural giant NCIS keeps expanding its universe with more spinoff shows coming soon, and one of them may finally give the fans what they’ve wanted all these years.
The franchise’s upcoming 10-episode series titled NCIS: Tony & Ziva is set to take a closer look at what life is like for the original show’s characters Tony Dinozzo and Ziva David after they both left NCIS several seasons ago.
With no one else to put its focus on, chances are that the new series will dive deep into Ziva David’s background story, something the flagship show was never able to do.
Initially introduced in NCIS season 3, Ziva David, portrayed by Cote de Pablo, was like a breath of fresh air for the show that would now have a new compelling character to explore.

NCIS is not afraid to lose characters, whether by them leaving or even dying. There is not a single main character left from the pilot, and only Sean Murray remains as Timothy McGee from the first season (his first appearance was on the seventh episode of Season 1). Now, another major character might be leaving.
Here is a look at what changes the NCIS season finale might bring to the show.
Could Katrina Law Leave NCIS?
Katrina Law might be leaving NCIS after this season’s finale. The Season 21 finale (“Reef Madness”) has some hints that Knight (Law) might leave the series by taking on a new job. The show has never shied away from characters leaving the show — often in shocking manners.
Caitlin Todd (Sasha Alexander) was a main character in the first season as she clashed with Jetrho Leroy Gibbs before joining the team and becoming a key member of his squad.

Over the course of its 21-year television run, CBS’ police procedural show NCIS has been constantly reshaping its story by adding and removing characters, something that would make the plot go in a completely different direction.
Such changes mostly did affect the storyline, but only one character from the first ever seasons gave the whole show a radically switched perspective that later on helped introduce another significant cast member.
Kate’s Death Was a True Game Changer for NCIS
Caitlin "Kate" Todd, a special agent portrayed by Sasha Alexander in seasons 1 and 2, had some special impact on her colleagues that the latter ones didn’t really become aware of until Kate was gone.
Shot in the head by a sniper after she and other agents successfully went through a warehouse that presumably served as a terrorist cell’s hide-out, Kate left the show, but still redefined it all and made...

It was only appropriate that the 1,000th episode of the NCISverse aired on the Mother Ship.
While NCIS Season 21 Episode 7 didn't live up to all the hype (what could have?), it was still enjoyable and well-constructed.
It also skillfully drew upon NCIS's long history, going back 21 seasons.
The spotlight fell on Rocky Carroll's Director Vance, who has been too close to becoming a recurring character in recent seasons.
The storyline hearkened back to one of Vance's shining emotional moments when his wife Jackie was killed during an assassination attempt on Eli David on NCIS Season 10 Episode 11.
As expected, that event had lasting repercussions on the Vance family.
Kayla followed her father's lead and became an NCIS agent afloat.
Jared, who was closer to Jackie, had been adrift since then, never committing to anything in Leon's mind.

NCIS has teased fans with Harmon leaving the show a few times. The series has had a few cliffhangers where the fate of Harmon’s Leroy Gibbs is up in the air. NCIS gave fans memorable characters they’ll remember forever — but many of those fan favorites are known for their deaths. The show’s creators recently discussed the characters, actors, and storylines they worked with over the years. And they discussed one “shocking” death that came after the actor complained of long hours on set.
‘NCIS’ creators said actor Sasha Alexander didn’t want to work long, grueling hours
NCIS creators discussed the death of Sasha Alexander’s character, Caitlin Todd. Alexander appeared in the first two seasons of the series, but she was shot in the head in the season 2 finale by Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ archnemesis Ari Haswari.
Peter Golden, the former head of CBS casting, spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about Alexander. “We were only able to make a deal with Sasha for two seasons,” he said. “She decided she wanted to move on to other things, and that...

One of the most stunning moments in NCIS history came early on in the show’s run. In the season 2 finale, Sasha Alexander’s Agent Caitlin Todd was abruptly killed off. The character was shot in the head by a rogue Mossad officer named Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin).
The shock death of a major character left NCIS fans reeling – and wondering why the show’s writers would kill off Agent Todd. In the past, Alexander has said that her departure was due to the show’s grueling workload. Once the show’s writers knew she wanted to leave, they decided to give her the most dramatic exit possible, insiders explained to The Hollywood Reporter in a recent oral history of the show.

Although NCIS was well-liked from the get-go, not even an elite investigation could have foreseen the show becoming a hit that would span decades and launch a franchise.
It began in spring 2003 as a backdoor pilot for CBS’ sturdy military-law procedural Jag. Co-created by Jag mastermind Donald P. Bellisario (Magnum, P.I., Quantum Leap) and Don McGill (Numbers, CSI), NCIS follows special agents from D.C.’s Naval Criminal Investigative Service, led by Mark Harmon as Leroy Jethro Gibbs. The show’s initial core cast included Michael Weatherly (Tony Dinozzo), Sasha Alexander (Caitlin Todd), Pauley Perrette (Abby Sciuto) and David McCallum (Ducky Mallard). Twenty years later, the series continues to thrive, as it stands as CBS’ No. 1 broadcast drama for five straight seasons and has launched four spinoffs, with the first international entry, NCIS: Sydney, debuting this fall on the network.
