Was the music programmer at The 13th Note Cafe in Glasgow prior to
forming Franz Ferdinand. That was where he met bassist
Bob Hardy.
Met keyboardist and guitarist Nick McCarthy at a party in 2001. The two got into a brawl at the party, but ended up getting a drink together the following day.
