Veerasekaran is a film wherein art director Veerasamar is debuting as a hero. He is donning the role of a poor student who stays and studies in the cemetery due to his poverty. Veerasamar who comes from a village to study in Chennai stays in the cemetery with the help of cemetery caretaker due to his poverty. But a politician adopts him for his personal gains. The International Indian Film Academy (Iifa) today announced the winners of the technical awards categories for the 'Iifa Awards 2009'.
