He directed and co-produced a seven camera shoot with Katy Perry on the roof of Capitol Records, with a helicopter and a crane. He charged a crew of eleven through the streets of London at the Royal Wedding from Westminster Abbey to capture the first kiss at Buckingham Palace, and negotiated dropping a jib onto a busy Bangkok street at 2 a.m. to get the shot. Michael is a seasoned road warrior with a passion for telling stories.
Michael produces, writes, shoots, directs, and edits projects for broadcast, corporate, and social media anywhere in the world. Clients include Discovery Channel, Amgen Pharmaceuticals, and Karpel Solutions. He recently returned from Rwanda, collaborating with World Vision and Entertainment Tonight to document the opening a water pipeline in a rural community, and tell the story of the healing between families in the aftermath of genocide.
Michael is a member of the Motion Pictures Editors Guild (MPEG), working as freelance editor, he has edited 18 camera large-scale 4K concerts for Sheryl Crow and Foreigner. Michael has been an editor for Entertainment Tonight, and directed, produced and edited all video for the grass-roots organization ShakeIt for Self-Acceptance, and he also hosts and produces the YouTube show called Director's Garage.
