A Great Big World's universe just got a lot bigger. Christina Aguilera recently collaborated with the singer-songwriters in the studio, and we have behind-the-scenes footage of the recording session!
The pop group, made up of Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino, were humbled when they heard that Christina wanted to re-record their Say Something single.
"It was really hard to process," Chad admitted.
But for Christina, the decision appeared to be a no-brainer.
"It's so simple," Christina said of the pop duo's hit, explaining that the track came along at a time where she's been feeling particularly inspired.
"I'm only taking on projects that feel good to me and represent, as always, a purpose of the here and now in my life," the pop diva continued. "That's what this song, Say Something, actually does for me."

Everyone is Gay, a website for Lgbtq youth reached out to their friends, A Great Big World, a New York-based duo comprised of Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino, to write "the gayest song ever" for an upcoming compilation and the result was the appropriately titled song, "Everyone is Gay."
In a press release to announce the new video for the song Axel and Vaccarino say:
"We believe in [EveryoneIsGay.com's] mission and stand by all those who live in fear of being their authentic selves. No One deserves to be bullied or treated unfairly based on sexual preference. Diversity should be celebrated. Thank you Kristin and Dannielle for inspiring us and for making the world a little better."
