Brynn Cartelli may be the youngest artist on season 14 of “The Voice” but she is just as talented as her Top 10 rivals, many of whom are more than twice her age. This 14-year-old from Longmeadow, Massachusetts has proven to be a formidable competitor. She has sung seven songs to date on this reality competition series. Which of these has been your favorite so far? Vote in our poll below and then sound off in our comments section with your thoughts on this edition of “The Voice.”
Do you think that Cartellis’s best performance was her cover of the Coldplay hit “Fix You” on the May 7 episode? Or do you prefer her first time in the spotlight when she won over Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton with her cover of “Beneath Your Beautiful” by Labrinth? Perhaps you favor one of the five other songs she has sung in the competition so far.

The Top 11 artists vying to win season 14 of “The Voice” performed on Monday April 30. We wondered which of these hopefuls coached by Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were your favorites. Only two of them registered more than 20% support in our poll: Pryor Baird from Team Blake Shelton at 23% and Britton Buchanan of Team Alicia Keys with 21%. Two other artists — Brynn Cartelli from Team Kelly Clarkson and Baird’s teammate Kyla Jade — are close behind at 19% and 15% respectively.
Not surprisingly, Barid and Buchanan saw their Top 11 songs ranked the highest on iTunes. Selling digital downloads can be a key part of success on this show. If you register in the top 10 on iTunes, you get the benefit of a vote multiplier.

Kelly Clarkson may only be a rookie coach on “The Voice” but she has assembled one of the stronger teams heading into the Top 12. We asked you which of the three artists still on her team could take the season 14 title on this NBC reality competition series. Your favorite, with a whopping 81% of the vote is Brynn Cartelli. That isn’t so surprising given that she won the first public vote when the Top 24 performed on April 16.
In second place with 11% of the vote is Kaleb Lee, who advanced to the Top 12 when he came out on top in the second public vote on April 18. Shelton’s personal pick, D.R. King, has the backing of just 9% of our readers.

Kelly Clarkson continues to prove to be a strong competitor in her first season as a coach on “The Voice.” She heads into the Top 12 on April 23 with one of the strongest of the four teams. This one-time “American Idol” winner is rivaled only by three-time coach Alicia Keys. Season 14 of “The Voice” begins its Top 12 live shows on Monday, April 23 when a dozen artists take to the stage and sing for America’s votes. Six-time champ Blake Shelton is coaching three of those hopefuls. Two of them — Pryor Baird and Kyla Jade— won the public vote. We asked you which of these three artists that didn’t make the grade with Shelton was the most deserving to move on to the live shows. The overwhelming choice was Wilkes who garnered a whopping 82% of your votes. Giorgio netted 11% while Edwards managed just 7%.

Blake Shelton has been with the “The Voice” since it began in 2011 and has won six of the previous 13 seasons. He is the reigning champ, having coached Chloe Kohanksi to victory last fall. However, he may have a hard time winning for a lucky seventh time in season 14 with the return of Alicia Keys and the addition of Kelly Clarkson to the coaching panel. Our readers say that both those women have stronger teams heading into the live round, which kicks off April 16 with all artists in the Top 24 performing.
As with the other three coaches, Shelton had to cut his team of eight down to five during the knockout round that just ended. In addition, he added one more artists to his team when their original coach went with another singer in their knockout.

“The Voice” aired the last of the three episodes dedicated to the knockout round of season 14 on April 9. It featured the final seven match-ups and produced a lot of drama. The four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — didn’t pick the songs that their artists performed in match-ups against each other. However, they did get to declare a winner of the sing-off and each could steal one of the rejects of the other three and save one artist from their team as well.
Below, take a read of our recap of each of the seven knockouts from April 9 and then weigh in with your choice as to the best of these match-ups by voting in our poll and sounding off in the comments section.

Monday night on “The Voice,” Wilkes and Dylan Hartigan represented Team Blake Shelton during the third and final knockout round episode of Season 14. Wilkes sang Miley Cyrus‘ “The Climb,” while Dylan took on Ray Lamontagne‘s “You Are the Best Thing.” After both artists performed Blake chose to advance Wilkes to the next round. However, rival coach Kelly Clarkson couldn’t bear to see Dylan go home so she stole him for her team. Do You think coach Blake made the right decision? Watch “The Voice” performance video above.

“I thought you both did everything you could do,” Blake told his artists. “We’re not completely sure that Wilkes is conscious in between songs. He’s literally just asleep. Maybe that’s how he can sing those notes, because he exudes absolutely no energy whatsoever outside of music throughout the day.

Cue the bell — Monday’s episode of The Voice brought to an end Season 14’s Knockout rounds. But did it suggest a frontrunner going into the Live Playoffs? Before it, the contestants had surprised us over and over again, sometimes in a positive way (for instance, Kyla Jade emerging from her shell to own Lesley Gore), sometimes not so much (Terrence Cunningham making something bad of “Tell Me Something Good”). So maybe it remained too early to start predicting who’d win — we were still learning who was going to be able to perform at a consistently high level. (That said,...

Rookie coach Kelly Clarkson is often quick to hit her button, either for a steal or in choosing artists. But that hasn’t been the case so far in the knockout rounds for “The Voice” Season 14. In fact she is the only coach with both a steal and a save remaining for the final two episodes of this round. Alicia Keys has used both of those options already. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton have each used their one and only save, a new feature this year, but both have a steal remaining.

Our readers say that both those women have stronger teams heading into the knockout round, which kicks off April 2, than Shelton or fellow veteran coach Adam Levine.
His eight artists earned a combined 19 chair turns during the blind auditions. Shelton chose six of these during the blind auditions while the other two were steals from coaches who went with the competing artists in the battle round.

Kelly Clarkson continues to impress in her first season as a coach on “The Voice.” She heads into the knockout round with one of the strongest of the four teams, rivaled only by three-time coach Alicia Keys. The two veterans of the reality competition series — Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — lag well behind.
Clarkson pitted her original dozen artists against each other in six battles. The winners of those — Alexa Cappelli, Brynn Cartelli, Jorge Eduardo, Jamella, Justin Kilgore and D.R. King — move on to the knockout round, which kicks off on April 2. Clarkson used one of her two steals in Battle 1, picking up Tish Haynes Keys when Levine opted to go with Rayshun Lamarr after their duet on “Sweetest Thing.” She used the other in Battle 3 when Shelton went with Pryor Baird over Kaleb Lee after their performance of “Don’t Do Me Like That.”

Like his long-time rival coach on “The Voice” Adam Levine, Blake Shelton has only paired up four of his 12 artists in the first two battle rounds of season 14 on March 19 and 20. While the two battle winners — Kyla Jade and Jaron Strom — move on to the knockout round, neither of the losers (JessLee and Bransen Ireland) were stolen by any of the other coaches. Conversely, Shelton used one of his two steals to throw Dylan Hartigan a lifeline after Kelly Clarkson opted to keep Brynn Cartelli following their battle duet on “…Ready for It?”
We will see Shelton’s other eight artists — Pryor Baird, Spensha Baker, Dallas Caroline, Austin Giorgio, Brett Hunter, Jordan Kirkdorffer, Kaleb Lee and Wilkes — do battle on March 26 and 27. He will have to winnow them down to four and use his other steal as well. That will leave him with eight artists to take to the knockout round.

Kelly Clarkson is only in her first season as a coach on “The Voice,” but she is proving to be a formidable opponent to veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton as well as the returning Alicia Keys. Her 12 artists earned a combined 24 chair turns during the blind auditions; that is second only to Keys whose original contestants numbered 29 chair turns between them.
Clarkson has pitted eight of these dozen artists against each other in battles on March 19 and 20. The four winners of those — Brynn Cartelli, Jorge Eduardo, Jamella and D.R. Last season, Adam Levine made it to the final of “The Voice” with an artist — Addison Agen — he stole from Miley Cyrus in the battle round. This season he may well have found another winner with his newest steal – Jackie Foster. She was dropped by coach Kelly Clarkson at the end of the first night of the season 14 battles in favor of D.R. King.
Foster was one of three losers to be thrown a life-line by one of the other coaches, along with another of Clarkson’s castoffs (Dylan Hartigan) and Levine’s reject Tish Haynes Keys. On March 19, season 14 of “The Voice” kicked off the first of four episodes devoted to the battle round of the competition. Over the course of four episodes, the 12 artists on each team will be split into six pairs and have to sing the same song for survival. The four coaches — Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — will then have to decide which contender in each battle to take to the knockout round.
At rehearsals, the coaches had fellow artists on hand to offer advise: Clarkson turned to Hailee Steinfeld, Keys was counseled by Shawn Mendes, Levine had Julie Michaels by his side, and Shelton brought in Trace Adkins. Below, take a read of our recap of each of the first six battles and then weigh in with your choice as to the best of these match-ups by voting in our poll and sounding off in the comments section.

With Monday’s episode, The Voice transformed its stage for the first time in Season 14 into Thunderdome. We all knew the drill: Two singers enter, one singer leaves. That is, unless the rejected contestant gets stolen by another coach. We also all knew as well as we knew the key advisors (Julia Michaels for Team Adam, Shawn Mendes for Team Alicia, Hailee Steinfeld for Team Kelly and Trace Adkins for Team Blake) which vocalists would emerge victorious from their Battles. Or at least we thought we did. Which singers lived up to our expectations, and which ones fell apart when it was duet-or-die?...

The battle round of “The Voice” kicks off on March 19 and will run for four episodes. Each of the four judges – Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton — must divide the 12 artists into six pairs and pit them against each other in a sing-off. They will then need to decide which of these won the battle and they will take those half dozen contestants, plus two more from other teams that lost their battles but warrant a save, to the knockout round.
To help Clarkson make these tough choices, the rookie coach on “The Voice” has brought in teen singing sensation Hailee Steinfeld as an advisor. We have done some digging and learned the match-ups of the 12 artists on Team Kelly Clarkson. One of her six pairings pits 14-year-old singing sensation Brynn Cartelli against Dylan Hartigan, a 21-year old.
Both of these talented artists are self-confessed fans of Clarkson.
