British/Australian Actor/Comedian Dave Christie-Miller started his "adult life" as a Corporate robot in London for three years, performing stand up in the evenings. In 2016 he quit and went to Paris to train with Philippe Gaulier, the clown master and mentor of Sacha Baron Cohen and many others. He directs, writes and performs, and since then has written and performed two sketch shows (Avocado! & Avocado! Definitely Maybe Not) at Pleasance Courtyard in 2018. During covid, he wrote, produced and acted in "Nowtime with David Crawford" a semi scripted/real life mockumentary about a Current affairs Journalist looking for love, which won multiple awards in the short film festival circuit, including LA short film festival, Oxford Film festival, and London short film festival. His two other Parodical shorts were aimed at mocking Netflix style documentaries, Chef's Table and Masterclass, which got the attention of both John Lloyd (Blackadder, Not The 9 o'clock News) and Jimmy Carr, and Jonathan Levene (Borat, Who is America) who made contact and have since become mentors. Dave is also a trained Improviser at the UCB in New York and Also is a regular performer at Boom Chicago in Amsterdam. His chameleon like ability to switch between characters, and love of playing the idiot with lightening quick reactions, blends the awkward and the outrageous in a fusion of improvised and scripted character work. He is now developing a pilot with his Australian Food and travel presenter character.
