Was the head of the official Story Team for The LEGO Company's Bionicle toy franchise from 2000 until leaving in 2005. After Bob's departure, some of his original ideas about the storyline were done away with -- for instance, he always equated each of Bionicle's sagas to "books" (much like the famous cartoon series
Avatar: The Last Airbender (2005)), and wanted it to last for seven books as a whole. This concept was dropped when he left, and some of his other story ideas have also gotten neglected. For example, he imagined a quirky character called Kapura to be able to go very fast by walking slow. The rest of the Story Team never understood how this worked, so Kapura's ability was never touched upon again.
