Kevin Spacey has fired back at new allegations of sexual harassment and assault set to be heard as part of a Channel 4 documentary, Spacey Unmasked, premiering in the U.K. on May 6-7.
“I’ve got nothing left to hide,” Spacey told former U.K. broadcaster Dan Wootton during a two hour, 20 minutes interview titled Kevin Spacey: Right of Reply, which streamed on X (formerly Twitter).
Having seen off earlier allegations of inappropriate sexual behavior in civil and criminal court cases in the U.S. and the U.K., Spacey said he refused to stand by and stay silent as fresh allegations were made in the Channel 4 documentary. “I can’t go through this again, allowing myself to be basically attacked without defending myself as well,” he told Wootton.
While accepting that he may have flirted with or hooked up with fellow actors in the past, Spacey denied that...

Italy’s National Museum of Cinema in Turin on Monday paid tribute to Oscar-winning U.S. actor Kevin Spacey, presenting the American Beauty and House of Cards star with its highest honor, the Stella della Mole Award for lifetime achievement. Enzo Ghigo, president of the National Museum, and Vittorio Sgarbi, Undersecretary to the Italian Ministry of Culture, presented Spacey with the prize.
“Tonight we’re witnessing Kevin Spacey’s comeback,” said Sgarbi, adding. “The one living through cinema is an immortal man, and it is precisely him that we are awarding this prize to tonight.”
Spacey thanked the Turin Museum of Cinema for having “the courage, the balls, to invite me.” The public event marked Spacey’s first since facing sexual assault charges.
Spacey also took part in a masterclass at the Temple Hall of the Mole Antonelliana in Turin, where he spoke with museum director Domenico De Gaetano about his life and career.

Oscar-winning actor Kevin Spacey made an emotional return to the public eye on Monday night with a special honorary event organized by Italy’s National Cinema Museum in the northern Italian city of Turin, attended by Deadline.
For the actor, who has been keeping a low profile since a string of sexual misconduct accusations in 2017 derailed his career, the evening marked his first major public appearance in more than five years.
“My heart is very full toward the Museum of Cinema for having had the “palle” (balls) to invite me tonight,” he said to applause as he accepted the museum’s Mole Antonelliana lifetime achievement award.
He thanked the museum’s director Domenico De Gaetano and head of international relations Marco Fallanca for putting on the event.
“By presenting this award, they are making a strong defence of artistic achievement and for that, they should be applauded,” he said.

Kevin Spacey took the opportunity to praise his manager Evan Lowenstein in a passionate speech Monday, receiving a lifetime achievement award prize prior to holding a master class at Italy’s National Museum of Cinema in Turin.
The occasion was Spacey’s first speaking engagement in more than five years, during which the Oscar-winning actor has been embroiled in several legal battles centered on sexual assault charges.
“The first performance that I ever gave was in my junior high school drama class. It was a little five-minute scene that we had to create, with no words,” Spacey started out. “But we could have music. I was 11 years old. And I decided to do a Western scene, so that I could play a cowboy. Well, a bank robber. The bad guy, naturally.”
Spacey then went on: “I have been so honored to have been part of the creative process with so many remarkable people.

Updated with more details: The jury in Anthony Rapp’s 40 million sexual misconduct lawsuit against Kevin Spacey has found the two-time Oscar winner not liable for damages today. They had deliberated for only an hour-plus, after eight days of testimony.
As the verdict was read, a facemasked Spacey lowered his head and then appeared to wipe away tears. Moments later, he stood, turned and exchanged hugs with his lawyers and then his manager, Evan Lowenstein. Rapp, seated with his attorneys, stared straight ahead.

Kevin Spacey caused quite a bit of conversation on Twitter during the 2016 Emmy Awards, but it wasn't over his loss to Rami Malek for Best Actor or even his ensemble or anything that actually had to do with him. Rather, the talk was entirely focused on his plus-one, Evan Lowenstein. If that name rings a bell, it's probably because it sparks some nostalgia. Lowenstein, 42, is half of the brother duo Evan and Jaron, a '90s boyband who saw success from 1994-2003. You may remember one of their most famous songs, "Crazy For This Girl" from 2000. Ok, so now that we know who he is, the question remains: Why did Spacey bring him along? A source tells E! News...
