A four-year-old boy from Houston, Texas has died of “dry drowning” almost a week after he last he went swimming.
Francisco Delgado Jr. told ABC 13 his family went swimming at the Texas City Dike with his son Frankie, 4, on Memorial Day weekend.
About a week later, Frankie complained of shoulder pain and woke up a few hours later.
“Out of nowhere, he just woke up. He said, ‘Ahhh,” Delgado told the news outlet. “He took his last breath and I didn’t know what to do no more.”
Frankie’s mother, Tara, said paramedics and doctors tried to save her son.

Yesterday, Ghostbusters legend Dan Aykroyd made his feelings for 2016’s reboot very clear when he stated that it “cost too much” and stated that director Paul Feig will “not be back on the Sony lot any time soon.” Today, he’s continued to air his grievances with the movie, with the following post on his official Facebook page.
Paul Feig made a good movie and had a superb cast and plenty of money to do it. We just wish he had been more inclusive…
Posted by Dan Aykroyd on Monday, June 5, 2017
At least this time around, Aykroyd – who played Dr. Ray Stantz in the original two Ghostbusters movies – took the time to compliment the film. He admitted that “Feig made a good movie” and that the all-female cast were “superb.” However, he revealed that he thought it should have been “more inclusive” to the “originators.” Presumably, he means the original team of Ghostbusters: himself,...

Bloody-Disgusting got their hands on a copy of the Ghostbusters 3 script written by Gene Stupnitsky and Lee Eisenberg back in 2009. This version of the script will never be made into a movie, so I wouldn’t worry about any spoilers. Bridesmaids director Paul Feig has taken the reigns and is set to direct and co-write a Ghostbusters reboot that will feature a female cast of Ghostbusters.
The script definitely sounds like it would have made for an interesting movie. The site did a breakdown of the story and they reveal all the details you need to know about what this film would have been. I’ve included a rundown of the film below with a few excepts from the report.
There are some aspects that I like about this, and other things that I don’t. One thing is for sure is that it doesn’t capture the spirit of the original film.

Analyze this: Ted Danson will play a psychiatrist in an episode of American Dad. EW has learned exclusively that the Cheers vet, who currently stars in CSI, will voice the role of "Dr. Ray," a shrink that Stan visits in the wake of a near-death experience. And we do mean shrink. "He introduces Stan to the concept of miniatures, and Stan is so caught up in the idea that he uses CIA technology to shrink himself into the miniature world where it’s all safe and protected," executive producer Matt Weitzman tells EW. Danson is not a psychiatrist, but...

“It’s the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.” It may be hard to believe, but it’s already been 30 years since Dr. Ray Stantz thought of happy memories that conjured up the towering, walking marshmallow in 1984′s Ghostbusters. Launched in the fall of 2007, Bioware’s Mass Effect franchise filled the western space opera vacuum left by the cancellations and finales of Star Trek, Stargate, and Battlestar Galactica. Spanning three games, its overarching storyline revolved around Commander Shepard and his/her struggles against the Reapers, a race of machines that culled all life in the galaxy every 50,000 years.
Despite an ending that is controversial, to say the least, Mass Effect has managed to expand out into the multimedia universe, with comics, novels, mobile games, and even an animated movie. But just about everything has been part of or tied into Shepard’s saga – and that has to change when the next Mass Effect game is released.
Here are the 10 reasons Bioware needs a whole new plot for the next Mass Effect game. Warning: spoilers for Mass Effect 3 will be largely present.

There have been so many flip flops in the making of this movie, I think they could make a movie based on the making of this movie. With that being said, Dr. Ray Stantz (Dan Aykroyd) was doing an autograph signing in New York this week and was asked by a local news station about a third installment in the Ghostbusters series. This is what he told Wibv:
We've got a new writing staff working on it now," Aykroyd said. "It's got to be prefect. That's the whole thing. There's no point in doing it unless it's perfect. So that's what we're up to now
I think if they can get the script right, that this could be a fun movie. I am normally a naysayer when it comes to sequels, but for some reason I really want to see this come together. There has been a lot of talk about Bill Murray’s involvement.

Confused or unhappy with how your Mass Effect 3 ending turned out? Or maybe you just want to see more of Shepherd. In any event, BioWare is putting together some Dlc to "expand upon the events" from the conclusion of their RPG trilogy in the Mass Effect 3 Extended Cut.
According to the announcement posted this morning, the BioWare team has shifted their post-release focus to create a Dlc pack featuring additional cinematics and epilogue content to elaborate on the, let's say controversial ending to Mass Effect 3. Dr. Ray explains that the new content will " a good balance in delivering the answers players are looking for while maintaining the team’s artistic vision for the end of this story arc in the Mass Effect universe.”
The Extended Cut Dlc will be available across all platforms this summer. There's currently no specifics on a release date. There's also no word yet on what...

In an open letter to gamers, BioWare'sGM, Dr. Ray Muzyka says the company is aware of fan complaints about the ending and that the developer plans to "provide more clarity" to the deeply contentious Mass Effect 3 ending.
It's a measured, cool and collected response to an incredibly stupid non-issue.
I had my issues with Mass Effect 3, to the point where I felt like it might not have been the game that the superlative Mass Effect 2 deserved. But maybe I'm built differently somehow because when I reached the ending of the game, unlike some more vocal fans of the series, I didn't rend my garments and gnash my teeth, I moved on. It wasn't an especially good or particularly gripping ending, but also wasn't likely to be the end of the Mass Effectuniverse that BioWare and EA want to sell us.

Laurence Fishburne hasn't watched "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" since he left, but his feelings toward the series are good ones.
"I enjoyed it a lot," the Emmy and Tony winner tells Zap2it of his two years-plus on the drama. "I learned a lot, and I really appreciated the opportunity to connect with a viewing audience of that size regularly. That's something television gives you that I'd never had the opportunity for, so I'm really grateful for that."
Dr. Ray Langston, Fishburne's "CSI" alter ego, left on a dark note after killing the tormentor who had kidnapped Langston's ex-wife. "It was great, it was great," Fishburne says of that exit, which yielded an opening for Ted Danson to join the CBS show this season. "I don't think that was the way it was intended, but it just kind of worked out that way."

Bioware announced today that Mass Effect 3 will be the end for the Commander Shepard story arc and even if future games are created in the Mass Effect universe there will be no Commander Shepard.
Bioware’s CEO Dr. Ray Mazuka:
“Mass Effect 3 is simultaneously a couple of different things: a thrilling and epic conclusion to the trilogy as we promised our fans we’d provide for Commander Shepard, but it’s also a brand new beginning – it’s an entry point for new fans and it’s also a brand new beginning.”
Producer Michael Gamble stated:
“After this, Commander Shepard’s story is complete. Even if there are more games in the Mass Effect universe, he/she definitely won’t be in them?” He laconically replied, “Correct.”
It seems definitive that Mass Effect 3 will be the last time we play as Commander Shepard; however on the bright side it seems...

Laurence Fishburne has opted not to renew his contract for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," the hit CBS program he joined in 2008. The "Matrix" alum took on the marquee role when William Peterson, the hugely rated series' original lead actor, left midway through its ninth season. Fishburne played Dr. Ray Langston, a college professor and former pathologist. The news means that Fishburne will not return for the 2011-12 season, which moves to Wednesday nights at 10 p.m. Et. Dr. Ray Langston is no longer on call.
In another big blow to mega-hit TV medical/police procedurals, Laurence Fishburne is officially leaving "CSI." Deadline reports that the star's contract expired after this season, the show's 11th, and he has no plans on renewing.
He's the second leading man of a hit procedural to leave this summer, following Christopher Meloni's surprise exit from "Law & Order: Svu."
That'll put to rest the career of the pathologist-turned-csi, who came on to replace William Peterson's character midway through the show's ninth season. His storyline ends on a cliffhanger; having murdered Nate Haskell in the season finale, it's unclear whether his character admits to the crime as the episode ends.

If Beliebers thought Justin Bieber's debut episode of "CSI" was action-packed, then they were in for a shock as the teen singer made his second appearance on the show on Thursday night (February 17).
As the episode titled "A Target of Obsession" opened, accused serial killer Nate Haskell (Bill Irwin) was testifying in court in a case involving the attempted murder of Dr. Raymond Langston (Laurence Fishburne). Meanwhile, troubled teen Jason McCann (Justin Bieber) calls Nick Stokes (George Eads) and warns the investigator not to go home. But Stokes begins walking into his house anyway, only to be startled by a booby trap planted in the front yard.
With the help of the bomb squad, Stokes carefully removes himself from the ambush and appears grateful for McCann's warning. The rest of the squad,...

Fuquay-varina - It was a speedy two days with major stars dropping into my neighborhood.
On a Thursday night the man who made predicted FedEx arrived at a Durham library. Mister McFeely (David Newell) still fits in his Speedy Delivery uniform and hat as he greeted Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood fans of all ages. Most of the ages were under seven. Luckily I had brought along a little kid in order not to stick out.
McFeely was at the end of a weeklong tour around the state to touch base with the kids. Lately whenever any star of kid focused tv shows comes to town, it’s part of some over inflated media spectacular stage show at the sports arena. There’s singing, dancing, indoor fireworks and motorcycle stunts meant to dazzle a three year old. Plus there’s a $18 convenience charge on the tickets. But this was not McFeely’s type of entertainment.

Chicago – With most TV on DVD releases now scheduled for August and September, how does one buyer work through all of the options? No! Nobody ever made them like this! I mean the architect had to be a certified genius or an authentic wacko!" -- Dr. Ray Stanz, "Ghostbusters"
You'd have to be a certified genius, or maybe an authentic wacko, to make a movie poorly on purpose. But that's what Larry Blamire did when he made "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" in 2001. He paid homage to the legendarily bad films of Edward D. You'd have to be a certified genius, or maybe an authentic wacko, to make a movie poorly on purpose. But that's what Larry Blamire did when he made "The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra" in 2001. He paid homage to the legendarily bad films of Edward D. Wood Jr. by mimicking their style and tone, from the horrific screenplay ("As a scientist I just wish I could appreciate more things like cabins...") to the equally atrocious acting ("Even when I was a child, I was hated by skeletons!") to the super low grade special effects. CSI's season-long hunt for Dr. Jekyll will finally come to a close, thanks to another serial murderer, Nate Haskell, aka The Dick and Jane Killer (Bill Irwin).
Check out photos of the CSI cast
At the end of last week's episode, Haskell told Dr. Ray Langtson (Laurence Fishburne) that he knows Dr. Jekyll's true identity. The finale (Thursday at 9/8c on CBS) features Haskell as the Hannibal Lecter to Langston's Agent Starling in a Silence of the Lambs-esque cat-and-mouse game.
"How much of what Haskell is giving them is truth?" executive producer Carol Mendelsohn tells TVGuide.com, noting that Captain Brass will be furious that the team is trusting a convicted killer to help. "Langston believes that in the lies are some truths, and that the truths that Haskell is spinning will actually help in the investigation. And little by little,...

On Thursday's CSI, Ray Langston's obsession with Dr. Jekyll begins to involve other members of the team.
CSI: The hunt for Dr. Jekyll heats up
When Langston (Laurence Fishburne) and Nick (George Eads) are called to the scene of a family's brutal murder, their investigation leads them to the basement of the house next door, which is full of equipment that suggests Dr. Jekyll lives there.
"We find some of his homemade surgical equipment that will make your hair stand up," Eads tells TVGuide.com. "The clues he leaves are literally something out of dinner theater. This guy's dropping all these squirrelly clues all over the place. To decipher these clues, we call upon Nick's instinct, but tap even more into Dr. Ray's insights into the criminal mind."
The case takes the team to a hospital, where the investigators soon learn that Dr.

ER the hospital drama that pretty much had .change. as its byword, has season twelve out on DVD. For longtime fans or for those new to the series, this is a chance to follow the stories as they move from Chicago to Iraq and Darfur, and cover a range of traumas and crises in both the professional and private lives of the doctors and nurses. The twelfth season of ER was full of new directions, as viewers followed Dr. Abby Lockheart (Maura Tierney), Dr. Neela Rasgotra (Parminder Nagra) and Dr. Ray Barnett (Shane West) in their first days of being teaching residents rather than interns. Dr. Lucas Kovac (Goran Visnjic) ended his relationship with Nurse Samantha Taggart (Linda Cardellini),...

Twleve seasons in and ER has found a few ways to keep itself feeling fresh. Adding a few new cast members and sparking some unexpected romances between certainly helped it through another 22 episodes, but there’s one drawback that just can’t be overcome. ER seems to have reached a point where the supporting cast runs the show. With every season the writers introduce new characters. Some stick around, some wander off. The main characters holding down the series by this point were introduced back in season 10. They’ve developed a little, but none of them really has the strength to carry the show like Anthony Edwards and Noah Wyle did.
Now, the most senior member is the oft-absent Laura Innes as Dr. Weaver, with Maura Tierney’s Dr. Abby Lockhart and Goran Visnjic’s Dr.Luka Kovac providing the other semblance of normalcy for this show with such a high cast turnover rate.

Viewers used to focus on what TV networks would air during sweeps.
This fall, the biggest headline has been what a network won't air.
Fox has pushed struggling Friday night cult-favorite "Dollhouse" off the November board, clearing the night for repeats of "Bones" and "House." The network plans to air the rest of the Joss Whedon show's episodes in December, doubling them into two-hour blocks.
The move sparked fan dismay over the show's fate while highlighting how much the November sweeps have changed. Once a period of high-profile stunts, now it's more like business as usual, with a smattering of very special episodes.
Arguably the biggest programming event is CBS' "CSI" crossover. Starting on "CSI: Miami" on Nov. 9, Laurence Fishburne's "CSI" character Dr. Ray Langston will follow a case to Miami, New York and then back to Las Vegas.
Fox will have the series premiere of "The Wanda Sykes Show" on Nov.

All three CSI shows will be involved in a crossover storyline later this year, their executive producers have confirmed. The plot, which sees Horatio call Dr. Ray Langston for help on a case, launches on CSI: Miami, moves to CSI: New York and finishes up in Las Vegas on the regular CSI show. New York producer Pam Veasey told Et Online of the story arc: "Everyone stays true to their writing style. What you fundamentally do is tell a CSI story, which is what we all have in common. Well, usually this works the other way around, but for once, a modern film is getting a classic update...at least when it comes to the trailer, anyway. This time, a dedicated fan by the name of whoiseyevan has made a trailer for the Ghostbusters movie that could have been...if it had been made in 1954. Taking over the roles made famous by Harold Ramis, Dan Aykroyd, and Bill Murray are crooner Dean Martin as Dr. Ray Stantz (Aykroyd), Fred McMurray as Dr. Egon Spengler (Ramis), and who else but Bob Hope could fill Murray's coveralls as the smart-a**, Dr. Venkman?
All those classic 'busting' touches are there, which is probably what made this fan-trailer such a success. Then again, I might be biased because they managed to work in one of my favourite lines from the film in one of the title cards. So even if you aren't impressed with the result,...

It’s a dangerous job, one that sees you take on green slimy ghouls, over-sized marshmallow men and possessed demon dogs, but there’s one massive perk to being a Ghostbuster – the uniform. Yes, there’s no faulting the stylings of parapsychology professors Dr. Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis), Dr. Ray Stanz (Dan Ackroyd) and Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray) as they protect Manhattan from supernatural horrors. And we love their look so much that we’re not waiting until Halloween and all the fancy dress parties that time of year brings until we dust it off our replica costume. Instead, we’ve found this great top that delivers Ghostbusters goodness but is cool and wearable for everyday living.
Ghostbusters seems to be everywhere at the moment. There’s Ray Parker Jnr. riffing on his classic theme song in the 118 118 TV commercials, the song and more movie-inspired mayhem in the current...

Ghostbusters III may be getting a little bit closer to reality. According to AICN, Dr. Ray Stantz himself, Dan Aykroyd, offered an update during a Boston Globe chat with fans while promoting a new venue for the House of Blues.
When asked about the status of the third film, Aykroyd had the following to say: "Script is commenced early summer. Hope to be in production by late fall 2009."
There's a lot of "if" in that statement, as the film doesn't have an official greenlight yet, though signs currently point to a late 2010 release - If they're shooting this fall. Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky (both writers/producers of NBC's The Office) are currently penning the Ghostbusters III screenplay, and serving as Producers on the film, along with Aykroyd as Executive Producer.
