GarageMonkey, a multi-platform network focused on auto and motorsports-related content, once again revved up its engines for a road trip event with top influencers in tow. The purpose of the second annual trip was to garner buzz ahead of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (Sema) Show -- a tentpole trade show that’s currently taking place in Las Vegas.
GarageMonkey’s road trip kicked off last Sunday and culminated in Vegas after multiple pit-stops along the way, where creators were given the opportunity to produce exclusive and branded content for their respective YouTube channels. This year, GarageMonkey worked directly with YouTube on the Road To Sema event. The video giant furnished pre-release VR180 gear so that creators like Chris Fix, Eric Cook, Adnan Ebrahim, and Jason Fenske could produce content in the nascent format.
