1999. It was a muggy night and approaching the end of a long and arduous day. Sanjay Gupta is assured that there won't be any roadblocks in the journey that he has taken towards remaking the Spanish film Ladron Que Roba A Ladron. Though Maroos from Shemaroo too have their eyes set on this action thriller which is on the lines of Oceans series and have made their intentions clear about remaking this film with director duo of Abbas-Mustan, Gupta is amused at the very thought of it. Reason being that his company White Feathers has officially procured rights to the film while Shemaroo (apparently) doesn't have any legal right around remaking the film. "I guess this is very preposterous on the part of Shemaroo to be making a statement that they will make this film instead of me doing it", smiles Gupta, "I am not bothered with what they have to say because I have been negotiating with the makers of this Spanish film for over 6-7 months now.
