Jona Jane Tajonera
- Producer
Jona Jane Tajonera was born on December 14, 1969, in Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines. She was born of Ilonggo and Mindoreno's parents, the youngest of four siblings.
She finished AB Mass Communication major in Advertising and Public Relations at the famed Assumption College in Manila with dreams of landing in the Advertising industry. After college, she moved to New York City to start a name for herself.
Like anyone wanting to start a name in the Big Apple, she started being a hostess at a restaurant. However, fate had other initial plans for her. While at the restaurant, she met a respected hematologist/oncologist and a well-known cardiologist, who would later become her mentors in public health.
She, then, studied again for a master's degree in public health and a doctorate degree in public health administration. Consequently, she set up her own consulting company - Mindoro Healthcare Consulting, LLC and a public health company- US Mobile Care Group.
However, the showbiz and advertising bug is so strong, that even while in healthcare, she couldn't help but dabble into the entertainment scene.
In 2013, she produced "A Heart Full of Love: A Concert," starring Fil-Am Broadway stars Adam Jacobs (Disney's The Lion King, once on this Island and Les Misérables) and Ali Ewoldt (West Side Story, Disney's Aladdin and Les Misérables) at the historic The Town Hall.
In 2022, she finally set up her own production outfit - J3 Marketing and Productions, Inc., sitting as its President. Her company's first foray into productions is Jhett Tolentino's upcoming rom-com, "The Asian Persuasion," starring internationally respected Fil-Am actors KC Concepcion and Dante Basco. Tajonera's US Mobile Care Group also provided the COVID compliance and testing throughout the production.
On October 23, 2022, J3 Marketing and Productions, Inc. produced the "Gary V.: ReEnergized," the New York comeback concert of international Filipino singing sensation, Mr. Pure Energy, Gary Valenciano, at The Town Hall.
