Paramount+ wants more of the Australian comedy Colin From Accounts and has picked it up for season two. Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer are onboard to write, star in, and executive produce the second season of the critically acclaimed comedy about a craft beer brewery owner, a student nurse, and the border terrier who brought them together.
“We’re Super Excited that Paramount+ has the good taste and exquisite judgment to renew us for another season,” said Brammall and Dyer.
Season one premiered in the US in November 2023. Production is currently underway in Australia on season two.
“Colin From Accounts quickly won over audiences with its quirky, relatable storylines, and lovable characters,” stated Jeff Grossman, Executive Vice President, Programming, Paramount+. “Patrick and Harriet are crafting another phenomenal season, and we can’t wait to share what is next for Ashley, Gordon and Colin.”

Paramount+ has picked up the second season of the hit Australian comedy Colin From Accounts. Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer return to write, executive produce and star in the new season, which is currently in production in Australia.
The show follows the lives of two flawed and funny people who begin an unconventional romance after being brought together when Ash (Dyer) spontaneously flashes her nipple at Gordon (Brammall), causing him to hit and injure a dog with his car.
In addition to the pair, the cast also stars Emma Harvie as Megan, Helen Thomson as Lynelle, Genevieve Hegney as Chiara, Michael Logo as Brett and Tai Hara as James.
As Deadline revealed in December, Season 2 begins with Ash and Gordon living together and trying to get their beloved, disabled dog back from new owners. Hurbert-Burns said in a recent interview there would be “a journey to see how our heroes get reunited.

UK sales firm Rocket Science has bolstered its team with the return of Chiara Gelardin, who has been appointed Managing Director.
In her new role, Gelardin will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, and working with COO Levi Woodward to lead the team and spearhead business development.
The London-based exec previously served as Director of Sales at Rocket Science from 2016-21, where her responsibilities included international sales, business affairs and facilitating production loan closings. Prior to that she was Director of Sales at HanWay Films and also held Business Affairs roles at Recorded Picture Company and Momentum Pictures. She is a qualified barrister-at-law and a systemic coach.
Rocket Science has Michael Gracey’s Robbie Williams biopic Better Man finishing post-production, Ali Abassi’s The Apprentice and Peter Cataneo’s The Penguin Lessons both recently wrapping principal photography, and the independently financed reboot of Cliffhanger, which is aiming to shoot later in the year.

Some cliche somewhere said that ‘a picture is worth a thousand words.’ This has proven to be the case for me and especially when it comes to fan art. I have always sought out great fan art and have wanted to share it with as many people as possible. “Awesome Art We’ve Found Around The Net” is the outlet for that passion. In this column, I will showcase the kick-ass artwork of some great artists, with the hopes that these artists get the attention they deserve. That’s the aim. If you have any questions or comments, or even suggestions of art or other great artists, feel free to contact me at any time at theodorebond@joblo.com.

Margherita Mazzucco on the connection with Saverio Costanzo, Susanna Nicchiarelli, and Chiara: “I was shooting My Brilliant Friend and I received this call from Susanna …” Photo: Anne-Katrin Titze
Susanna Nicchiarelli’s Chiara, starring Margherita Mazzucco was a highlight of Film at Lincoln Center and Cinecittà’s 22nd edition of Open Roads: New Italian Cinema. Resembling Bruno Dumont’s approach of how to look at past centuries through the cinema lens of the 21st century, there are dances and wielding wild nature and commonplace miracles that stun nevertheless.
Margherita Mazzucco as Chiara: “She did these incredible things by herself and I’m very happy to portray this character.”
Chiara, St. Clare of Assisi (played with vigour and poise by Mazzucco), a disciple of St. Francis of Assisi (Andrea Carpenzano), is front and centre in Nicchiarelli’s take on what it could have meant to be a woman in the 13th Century,...
