Earned a bachelor's degree in Theatre from Rose Bruford College-University of Manchester. Also trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the National Shakespeare Conservatory.
Has worked extensively in theatre, including at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, where he was selected as a member of the Globe's International Actors' Fellowship, and in Japan, where he played Hamlet in a touring production of Hamlet.
